Neutering Sir Lancelot25 Jun 2004 17:53 GMT2
I made the appointment for Lancelot to be neutered. My daughter is
having her tonsils out July 15 and I figure since I am off and he will
be 8 months then I may as well take care of him at the sametime. I
made his appointment for July 26th.
playing detective: how high can a cat pee?25 Jun 2004 17:15 GMT6
I just found that one of my critters has pee'd all over a stack of
stuff in plastic baskets that was sitting on the hardwood floor in my
dining room (ok, storage room).  There was a plastic grocery bag on
top of the pile at a height of about 18" that had pee puddled in its

I posted this message at another cat newsgroup and got two
helpful replies. I am posting it here (much larger) to see
what else I can learn.

Cat toys and questions24 Jun 2004 20:40 GMT5
I've been checking out new and interesting cat toys for Tucker for when we leave in our 5th wheel. About a month from now, I think, but we're in it every day and letting him get used to it as well.
I have chosen a few to go along with his trusted faves (and found, via packing up ...
Tiger is back home24 Jun 2004 19:00 GMT3
His ordeal is over.  He looks rather strange with almost no hair on his
back.  He is still mad - spitting at me and all and I am $231 poorer.

Concerned about my Cat24 Jun 2004 17:13 GMT38
I'm a new poster here, and am wondering if anyone else has had this
experience.
First, the positives, Francesca is an apparently healthy seven-month
old female, who is alert, curious and has a good appetite for every
Age & Clumping Litter24 Jun 2004 16:37 GMT12
I was told after I got my Siamese kitten that he was too young for clumping
litter, so here I am, with his birthday in six days, soon making him a year
old.  Does this mean he'll be okay for clumping litter at around this time?
Thanks in advance,

Cats taking Clothes24 Jun 2004 03:38 GMT28
When my fianc? was away a few weeks ago, I came home from work one day to
find a few t shirts had been dragged out of a open drawer in the bedroom and
taken to various parts of the apartment. I thought it was funny but put it
down to him being away.
Tiger was "declawed"24 Jun 2004 03:33 GMT5
Well not actually declawed but while at the vet yesterday, they trimmed
his claws very close.  He is having trouble grabbing onto window sills
etc.  How long will it take them to grow back?  I never trim his claws
so he is not used to the dull tips.
New kitten - help24 Jun 2004 03:33 GMT11
My SO and I recently recived a cat. It's a 7 month old neuterd male.
The problem I'm running into is that I work evenings and late nights,
and need to sleep in the morning. Of course a kitten would never let
this happen.
Dilemma- opinions?23 Jun 2004 19:22 GMT129
Okay, suppose you were thinking about adding to your household and
came across the following two kitty pairs. Which would you choose, if
their current owners/fosterers were equally willing to allow you to
adopt the kitties?
Should I get 1 or 2 kittens?23 Jun 2004 18:35 GMT12
I'm seriously thinking about getting a kitten, but I can't decide if I
should get 1 or 2.  I presently don't have a cat.  A friend of mine said
she has 9 kittens and wants to give them away.  I saw the whole litter the
other day and each kitten looks very cute and friendly, ...

ReRe: Cat making a Chewing Like Movement all the time23 Jun 2004 17:39 GMT4
Rex, this problem sounds very similar to what my cat is experiencing.
See the message I just posted entitled "HELP! Chewing and breathing
problems" for more details. Have you learned anything new from the
vet? Let me know.
