Kitten screams12 May 2004 22:30 GMT9
Boy, if you want to hear something that will make you cringe; come
over to my house. We just bought a siamese kitten, and the poor thing
won't stop meowing. From cute little meows to obnoxious yelps, I swear
our sanity in now a luxery.
"Outdoorsy" cat suddenly scared of EVERYTHING...???!!!12 May 2004 20:59 GMT10
We adopted Skeeter, a really sweet 2 year old orange tabby, a neutered
male, about 6 months ago. He's a really sweet cat, very passive, loves
to be petted. The idiots who owned him previously declawed him,
unfortunately.

Modifying dangerous biting behaviour in difficult cats12 May 2004 15:38 GMT9
We recently had a cat killed by a vet because of a second vicious and
totally unexpected biting incident.  In effect, it was the end of an
unsuccessful attempt to adopt a quasi-stray 3-year old male
(originally not neutered).  It caused my wife and I considerable

Yes, as in the herb.
I'm thinking of growing ginger for my home, but am unsure as to toxicity
to my girls.  In short, is it safe?

To counterbalance the j.o.'s who love to post the animal cruelty stories
(and you unfortunates who take the bait every time and get just as upset as
these cretins want you to) check out CNN.com for the story of the tuxedo cat
who was mailed from Rhode Island to Indiana but was ...
Trouble Bonding With New Cat?12 May 2004 05:10 GMT8
Bit of a long post here...
First I want to thank everyone for the messages of support about the
death of my cat Nic. It really meant a lot to know that people out
there remembered him.  I'm still having trouble dealing with the loss.

Bloodwork mystery -- follow-up12 May 2004 03:15 GMT2
A few weeks ago, I posted about my 9-year-old cat, Eddie, who was supposed to
have dental work.  However, the preliminary bloodwork showed a low white blood
cell count and an elevated calcium level.  The vet said that about half the
time, this was inconsequential, and the other half ...

Cat feeder/waterer for two cats11 May 2004 17:22 GMT1
Hi, I'm going on vacation soon and want to set up a feeder and waterer for
my cats so that my neighbor (who's watching them) just has to give them
their wet food at night.
My problem is that one of the cats is shy/submissive, and I'm worried if
