Update on Willi's Biopsy16 May 2004 04:53 GMT9
I had put a note on the board Saturday about my beloved tuxedo black/white
10-year old indoor cat Willi had been found with a almost golf ball size tumor
bulging from his neck. Today he went in for the biopsy. The vet determined he
could not remove the entire boney mass as it ...
Please help me help my cat Jack!16 May 2004 04:49 GMT17
I am the caretaker for a very loved cat named Jack.  He is an
american shorthair tuxedo cat.  Unfortunately, he has bad teeth and
bladder stones that require surgery next week.  I simply cannot
afford that on my receptionist pay and am making a plea to any cat

taken my cat to the vet twice and they have found nothing.

unsqueezing it repeatedly white his tail twitches really oddly. The skin on

Cats are more important to civilization than Jews. Jews make terrible pets.
Cat with small, hard stool16 May 2004 00:48 GMT8
I have a foster cat named Hushpad (I know, ridiculous name, but she came
with it) who is ten years old.  She came from a house of 8 cats, and the
caretaker was slipping into mental illness, forgetting to feed them, the
house was a mess, etc.  All the cats from that house are 7 - 10 ...
Sterile?15 May 2004 21:24 GMT3
I'm a little curious about something - how rare is it for a cat to be
sterile on birth?
I ask as one of our girls at eight months has shown no signs of going into
heat.  (Yes, I know, get them fixed - this is soon to happen.)  To note,
Calming drugs15 May 2004 21:19 GMT44
I don't want to think this but I really think it is time for drugs for
Shamrock. He is just the most obnoxious cat and I don't know what to do.
Shadow spends all the time that I'm home terrified of him, so he sticks
close to me. (they are separated when I'm at work) If he doesn't ...

My cat, Samba, has feline lymphoma, and I was referred to this group

Jackie Update15 May 2004 04:19 GMT9
Ok, No parasites. T3 is normal but T4 is elevated (6.9 and normal is
4.0). So it is a bit inconclusive. The Vet says that Tapazole (sp?)
can cause cats to stop eating somewhat (because of upset stomach)
which is not something she can take right now, and he would prefer

Jackie Cat, Espy, Nipsy - can we just get along?14 May 2004 17:19 GMT1
Health issues aside, Jackie begins her integration into the household
and the boys are watching suspiciously. Yesterday I was only home for
an hour before having to go to a meeting so that was the only time
Jackie left her room. I let the boys out in the backyard and then fed
Happy Birthday Amaretto14 May 2004 08:12 GMT4
Our precious oldest son, Amaretto, a seal point Siamese, turns 13
years old today!  What a dear little survivor he is--we have had him
since he was 3 days old and (more recently) he has been a feline
diabetic for the past 4 years!  We are VERY proud of him! Like any

scratch posts?13 May 2004 21:57 GMT6
We recently got a new cat, an 8 month old female, who'd been living with a
foster after being rescued from a barn. She's a very, very sweet cat and we
haven't had any trouble with her, except she doesn't use the scratch posts
we have.
