My cat chews everything19 May 2004 12:16 GMT6
I'm not sure what to do to get my cat to stop chewing.  He likes to chew on
magazine corners, paper, the bristles on my brush, wires, etc.  He seems to be
more like a dog than a cat.  I wonder if I should buy her a bone to naw at.
Any tips on how to get kitty to stop chewing?
Cat limping/favoring right front paw19 May 2004 03:02 GMT1
"Angel" has always been a very active cat; climbing up and jumping down
the cat tree, chasing and being chased by her sister, "Spirit". Both
cats are about 5 years of age.
For the past week or so, we have seen Angel limping and favoring the
Good brush for my Angora type cat?19 May 2004 02:14 GMT9
I have tried metal rake types, and regular little hairbrushes, When I brush
this cat, hardly any hair comes off her.  She's a beautiful longhair cat,
not persian.
I am beginning to think she's half porcupine though because when she rolls
smartest breed18 May 2004 19:28 GMT11
OK, I know there is no definitive answer to this question. But what is
the "smartest" cat breed? (if you feel you cannot list one, list
several, but please rank them).
I realize this is totally subjective but I'd love to know everyone's
cat - mouse problem18 May 2004 19:22 GMT7
I know this may sound a very weird question but I have a huge problem with
my cat.
Almost every night my cat brings in a mouse, most of the time it's dead ,
sometimes it's alive
Jackie mixing in a bit18 May 2004 19:15 GMT7
It hasn't been easy getting Jackie accepted by Espy and Nipsy. I let
her roam around late Friday afternoon and the boys were still not
happy about it. I was worried about leaving even for two hours since
she is all of five pounds and old and sick. But Espy came up to her
biting18 May 2004 15:43 GMT12
My cat is only 8 1/2 months old, yet he seems to be biting everything! He
tore up our toilet seat cover, and the toilet seat itself (the plastic foam
kind) and he's even attacking me and my husband while we sleep. Not to
mention the fact that he feels the need to chew on a metal ...
gaint litter box18 May 2004 14:17 GMT10
Many years ago I purchased what was called the Potty Jo litter box. It is
huge (25 feet long, 17 feet wide, and 14 feet high). Does anyone know where
I can purchase this box or one like it? Thanks in advance.

Help with my foster again - ear problems18 May 2004 13:19 GMT4
Hi again,
My poor little foster cat Hushpad is not a happy girl.  She was treated for
earmites last week, but she's still rubbing her head on the floor, against
the wall and furniture corners, and pawing at her ears.  One of the other
Adopting a feral - 2 month update - and a question18 May 2004 12:34 GMT2
First...My thanks to everyone who has offered advice, support, and encouragement.
T.K. is well on his way to becoming a spoiled, pampered, and very loved house cat.

Cat flap ramp?18 May 2004 08:50 GMT13
We've recently fitted a cat flap to our back door, which should mean
that we can finally take a well earned 2 week holiday for the first
time in years (wife doesn't like the idea of boarding the cats).
The flap is around ideal height inside, but there's a drop on the

crystals - do you stir in the sludge?18 May 2004 06:34 GMT4
for those of you who use the crystals for litter, I have a bit of a gross
question. Our kitties' litter tray gets a gross layer of sludgy stuff at
the bottom, beneath the still-ok crystals. This happens long before the
litter should "expire" as judged by the indicator crystals, ...
