Cats and screens21 May 2004 13:38 GMT18
Well, a Google search tells me this is a common problem.
Beautiful weather today, so I put the cat outside.
She decided she wanted to be inside, and in one afternoon completely
destroyed the sliding screen door.
Bansect flea/tick collar21 May 2004 13:35 GMT7
So far, no fleas or ticks on any of my four cats who have been wearing
Bansect collars for the past 12 days. They stay outside for about 10-12
hours per day (on non-rainy days) during this time of year.
A Google search of newsgroups didn't turn up anything negative about the use
Sickly litter of kittens w/ former feral mom21 May 2004 12:23 GMT6
Well, I have a feeling I really can't do much to help, but just in case...
We are gradually taming and catching a feral cat colony in our backyard.
Our latest "catch" is almost two years old and only warmed up to us just
recently. She had a litter of kittens last July, only two of ...

hypoallergenic foods21 May 2004 02:27 GMT1
Does anyone know of a canned hypoallergenic food other than Science Diet or
IVD?  My allergic cat is having symptoms again, and I think she's acclimated
to her current food, so I want to try her on something else. -- M9

Other food options besides Hill's s/d?20 May 2004 15:26 GMT4
Is there any other dry food that is comparable to Hill's prescription
s/d? One of my cats has a bad UTI and I bought a small bag for her, but
my problem is that I have 7 other cats and they can't eat this food. I
plan on feeding Sasha (the one with the infection) the Hill's food ...

Hi group, Frequent reader, infrequent poster here.
I need some advice, and hopefully some encouraging words that my boy
will be ok. Let me say first that I've already spoken to my vet this
morning about this, and it's basically a wait and see situation.
Sleepy kittens after KRCPP20 May 2004 00:31 GMT1
These 2 7-week-olds were given their first distemper shots yesterday,
and they have done nothing but sleep the sleep of the dead for more than
24 hours now.  I did expect some sleepiness but I've never had any react
this way before!  They wake up every 5 hours or so and eat a little ...

I haven't been here in awhile, but I am back to request some thoughts or
advice.  My 3 year old kitty has in recent weeks (maybe 8 or 10 weeks?) been
pooping outside the litter box on occasion.
I am certain this is a behavioral thing, but will tell you the details so as

Help!19 May 2004 15:31 GMT13
My friend just called me.  Her cat sustained some kind of an injury on

also been staggering about a bit, and right after whatever happened, her
tongue was sticking out.  My friend had heard some kind of bang, ...

My 3 year old male cat seems perfectly happy and normal, except that
