| Cats and screens | 21 May 2004 13:38 GMT | 18 |
Well, a Google search tells me this is a common problem. Beautiful weather today, so I put the cat outside. She decided she wanted to be inside, and in one afternoon completely destroyed the sliding screen door.

| Bansect flea/tick collar | 21 May 2004 13:35 GMT | 7 |
So far, no fleas or ticks on any of my four cats who have been wearing Bansect collars for the past 12 days. They stay outside for about 10-12 hours per day (on non-rainy days) during this time of year. A Google search of newsgroups didn't turn up anything negative about the use

Does anyone know of a canned hypoallergenic food other than Science Diet or IVD? My allergic cat is having symptoms again, and I think she's acclimated to her current food, so I want to try her on something else. -- M9

| Other food options besides Hill's s/d? | 20 May 2004 15:26 GMT | 4 |
Is there any other dry food that is comparable to Hill's prescription s/d? One of my cats has a bad UTI and I bought a small bag for her, but my problem is that I have 7 other cats and they can't eat this food. I plan on feeding Sasha (the one with the infection) the Hill's food ...

| Sleepy kittens after KRCPP | 20 May 2004 00:31 GMT | 1 |
These 2 7-week-olds were given their first distemper shots yesterday, and they have done nothing but sleep the sleep of the dead for more than 24 hours now. I did expect some sleepiness but I've never had any react this way before! They wake up every 5 hours or so and eat a little ...

| happy cat not eating | 19 May 2004 14:36 GMT | 3 |
My 3 year old male cat seems perfectly happy and normal, except that he hasn't been interested in his food for about 5 days. Last week, we had a very hot day here and I think Monkey drank some bad water in a dish in my kitchen sink. That evening he vomitted 3
