Licks plastic bags and pictures11 May 2004 05:43 GMT3
Wondering if any of you know why my 3 year old cat tries to constantly lick
plastic bags from the grocery store and any photos that he can get at.  He
also likes to chew on dried flowers, so I had to get rid of all of them.
Also wondering if any of you have tried Royal Canine cat ...
helping Monika's cat Jack11 May 2004 04:41 GMT3
Took a look over on eBay.  Looks like Monika has sold 14 cards so far for
varying prices.  She's got 100 cards up for sale.  If you do eBay you can
join in on the fun.  I, for one, hope between that and the direct to the
animal hospital donations she manages to get enough or at ...
Siamese / oriental kittens - okay to get just one?11 May 2004 01:51 GMT2
Can anyone tell me if one Siamese cat will be ok on its own (in a single cat
household). Someone told me that they get lonely.
I can only have a single one and just wondered if anyone had any
experiences?
Constipation10 May 2004 22:57 GMT7
My little buddy seems to be on the mend, except that she's definitely
not eliminating normally.  The vet I'm taking (or trying to take) her
to said to substitute popcorn for her litter so I can bring in a stool
and urine sample if I can't catch her for a "live" visit.  (He may,
Treating Earmites10 May 2004 19:49 GMT5
I posted on here at the weekend about Mollie and her itchy ears. Well, we
took her to the vet tonight, and the vet said her ears are crawling with
earmites, and, seeing as we have no other animals, she must have come to us
with them. She was 7 weeks when we got her, she's now 16 ...
Maternity box10 May 2004 18:25 GMT7
What is the best way to introduce an expectant female to a maternity box?
Her due date is approx June 5th. Previously this cat selected a spot in my
closet for a hangout. She pulled several items that were seldom worn off
their hangers and bunched them up in the far back corner. ...
Where to get meds cheaper?10 May 2004 17:20 GMT1
I volunteer for a rescue group and I am trying to find a pharmacy online or
mail order that has some of our common medications for a cheaper price (with
prescription). Most commonly we need antibiotocs like baytril, antirobe and
cephalexin. Any suggestions? Thanks!
cat nuts for Altoids scent!10 May 2004 05:59 GMT6
Does anyone else have a cat who goes nuts over the smell of Altoids?
I have a friend who eats Altoids.  When she comes over, my cat goes
nuts - he goes to her and starts nuzzling around her pockets very
persistantly trying to find the source of the smell.  It's gotten to
cats and holidays10 May 2004 05:58 GMT4
I got my cat (Eve) from a cat shelter about one and half years ago.
When I got her she was four months old and very scared. she has
improved a lot since then but I have not been on holiday since I got
her. This year I would like to go on holiday but I don't know what is
My vet says Willi needs a biopsy10 May 2004 05:35 GMT11
Came back from the vet this morning. My intention was to bring my 10 year old
indoor black and white tuxedo cat Willi in for his shots. Instead they found a
almost golf ball size lump on the upper side of his neck. Given Willi's mostly
black medium length hair I guess I had not ...
Kitten will only eat people food10 May 2004 04:44 GMT3
I'm posting this question for one of our shelter volunteers.  She is a very
experienced foster provider, but is having difficulty with a stubborn little
kitten.  I will pass along any suggestions to her.  Thanks!!

What's wrong with Jackie Cat?09 May 2004 21:34 GMT13
Jackie has arrived! I took her home from the pet store on approval. If
it works out then I have to pay them the adoption fee and collect the
papers.
I really don't need a third cat. Espy and Nipsy are enough. But I saw
15 yr old cat with dislocated hips, Is it his time to be put down?09 May 2004 17:21 GMT9
My poor old boy.  He got hit by a car when he was a kitten and both hips
dislocated.  He now can hardly walk, has a hard time getting down and up the
one step into the dining room, getting into his cat box, and when he pees it
points backwards instead of forward.  He strains to do ...
