Cat shoots lightnings with her tail07 Apr 2004 01:53 GMT5
Is this normal or is my cat a dangerous alien from outer space?
Because my other cat only breathes fire and cannot shoot lightnings.
Stool softening07 Apr 2004 01:48 GMT5
I've put in a call to my vet, but thought I'd try to get some thoughts here
in the meantime.
Any suggestions on what I could give my 8 year old male neutered cat to help
soften his stool?  I don't want to give him pumpkin or a food with more
Another Careless Cat Person07 Apr 2004 01:42 GMT5
It is just sickening to see the lengths people will go to in order to make a
fast buck. This ad I found on gopetsonline.com shows just how careless some
people are with cats not to mention disgusting!

What to do with young family?07 Apr 2004 00:10 GMT5
I have a little problem.   While my own cat, Cleo Carrington Smith,
is well cared for and lives permanently indoors, there a cat with
3 kittens who has been abandoned by the house around the corner.
The mother has been visiting for some time, but we didn't start
Help my Cat's tongue is hanging, UPDATE06 Apr 2004 18:13 GMT9
Hi again - I hope you can recall this post that I left approx. 1 month
ago.
In short my cats tongue was hanging out and she was drooling quite a
bit, but still eating sleeping and acting normal pretty much.  I took
How do you know if your cat has arthritis / what treatment(s)?06 Apr 2004 12:33 GMT6
I suspected that our 11 year old male cat has arthritis or some other
manner of joint problem (an x-ray performed a few months ago based on
nothing more than my hunch came back with my our vet saying it looks
like he might have some indication in one of his hips).  I'm not sure
Can an Old Healthy Cat Travel Successfully Internationally?06 Apr 2004 04:00 GMT30
I may have to put my housecat on an airplane.  This cat was relocated
twice successfully in her youth, but only locally, within a few miles.
She is now at least ten years old and perhaps older (she was either
young or a very skinny stray when we found her).
Vet can't solve alergy problem, any advice?06 Apr 2004 02:48 GMT28
My cat started scratching until he made sores at our previous residence
and the vet said it was fleas. We never saw evidence of fleas but we flea
bombed, the cat got a depo shot and flea medicine and everything was fine
for a few months. We moved. The scratching came back, the ...
one fixed, other one mean06 Apr 2004 00:43 GMT6
Hello, first post here. We had our male kitten, Ollie, neutered yesterday.
His sister, Little Girl, will be spayed in a few weeks. Ollie came home in
not too bad shape considering, and once he calmed down he wanted to play
with his sister. But she acts like he's a stranger, and ...
Need more info on FLUTD/FUS.06 Apr 2004 00:23 GMT6
I'd like to educate myself more on FLUTD/FUS. The problem is that I
can't seem to find the answers to these questions. Does anyone know
the answers or would like to add their own comments?
Are some breeds of cats more likely to get the oxalate crystals than
Cory Went to Join His Mom05 Apr 2004 22:21 GMT24
We took my cat Cory in to be euthanized today.  It was, as most of you
understand, a very hard decision to make regarding the timing.  But we think it
was time.  We took him outside before his appointment and, it was so sad, he
just laid on his side with his head down in the grass ...
Adopting a feral - Part 3 - 4 weeks05 Apr 2004 21:45 GMT2
Just thought I'd let you know how T.K. has been doing.
His bite wounds have healed up and the fur is growing back. My wife
brought a stool sample in last week and we found that he had round worms.
So we had a lot of "fun" trying to get the medicine in him. I'm sure glad we
Fat cats05 Apr 2004 14:43 GMT3
My indoor cats are pretty fat.  They hat pretty big flappy guts.  I
let them free feed dry food because I work odd erratic hours.
1) How dangerous is it for them?
Is there a way to let them continue to free feed and loose weight?  I
cage rest and food question05 Apr 2004 06:38 GMT11
Hope I'm in the right place to be asking this question. Have just been
through a harrowing 24 hours with my cat to the emergency vet in the
middle of the night- hit by a car and 3 "clean" fractures to the
pelvis. The critical thing was bladder function and she proved that
Purina Indoor Cat Formula?05 Apr 2004 02:43 GMT36
Anyone know anything about the new Indoor Cat formula that's put out by Purina?  How does it differ
from their normal Cat Chow?  Is it really good for indoor cats by providing them with other
nutrients and helping them to lose weight and such?
We bought a small bag of it today to ...
