kitten food30 Apr 2004 18:53 GMT7
OK I have a question and I am sure I will get lots of ideas to help
me. Now that the new cat is ok to explore the house and the other cats
are not bothered  - How do I make sure he gets his kitten food?
I had it on my bedroom dresser cause that was the room he was in when
Freshly shaved cat wants to go outside30 Apr 2004 14:40 GMT5
We just had to shave our long-furred (?) 3yo cat due to excessive matting.
He's used to going outside and is really unhappy now with staying in... I
was thinking about letting him go out with some sort of vest on to protect
from sun & cold (it's about 10-20C during daytime, close to ...
Just lost our Kitty !! :-(30 Apr 2004 09:36 GMT67
We have 2 cats - a male bicolor and a female calico  (Max & Amy) .The
Male is 12 years old and the female was 13. Both  cats enjoy going
outside, but they usually don't go far or stay out for too long.
This past Friday we let the female outside and after being out for
How to tell the owners the tragic news?30 Apr 2004 05:39 GMT6
Hi, I need some urgent advice please.
About 10 days ago I saw a beautiful cat get run over and took it to
emergency vet. The cat unfortunately died probably immediately. She had no
ID tags/microchip so we were unable to contact the owner, but I told the
Urine Testing Beads30 Apr 2004 05:23 GMT27
My vet gave us a thing of beads to put in the litterbox to get a urine sample
for Meesha.  Has anyone's cat ever successfully peed with these beads?  I've
had Meesha in the bedroom all day with the beads in her empty litterbox and she
still hasn't gone.  I have to keep her in the ...
Hyperactive 6 month old cat30 Apr 2004 04:46 GMT15
I have recently adopted a small stray cat, hoping that she will make
my older 7 year old cat more playful.
Unfortunatly, I have discovered that she has tons of energy and rarely
sits down. Whenever somebody is at the door she comes running, she
wobble belly?30 Apr 2004 04:32 GMT31
I have a 4 year old male cat named Maus. He's a fairly large (in build, not
weight) cat, but he's always had a kind of wobbly pooch on his belly. It's
not a tumor or anything, just lose skin according to the vet. Is there any
way to get rid of it or make it smaller?
He's giving me THE LOOK30 Apr 2004 04:25 GMT13
I've gotten into the habit of giving my cats "treats" at bedtime. When
I don't immediately produce the treats, one of the cats (Espy) will
stare at me and give me "THE LOOK". His eyes squit a bit and I can
just about hear his little brain broadcasting "the treats the treats
Sapphire's sister, Pepper30 Apr 2004 04:09 GMT3
Pepper's sonogram came back.  No discernable problems.  She has been fine
since Sunday, anyway.  Between her and Sapphire I have spent over $1000 this
past week and now have 3 fine cats sunning themselves by the slider to show
for it.  (It was all worth it for the peace of mind!)

Frontline Plus making cat a little sick?30 Apr 2004 02:37 GMT3
I just applied a Frontline Plus dose to my cat a few hours ago.  It could be my
imagination, but it seems now that he's feeling a little funky, kind of like he
did after getting his vaccinations - maybe a 24 hr thing.  Is this normal - it
makes sense, since youre literally applying ...
Big surprise-North Shore Animal League29 Apr 2004 19:37 GMT3
Yesterday afternoon, after getting home with Pepper from her sono, a man
from North Shore Animal League showed up, (in uniform).  He was actually
coming to check on the welfare of my Pickles whom I got from North Shore
about a year ago!  I was very impressed!
Training a cat n=to be afraid of cars29 Apr 2004 15:10 GMT12
Well I am a senior poster on usenet and I know this post may cause some

Tell me what's safe (Cosequin/Meloxicam/Ketoprofen/Metacam/Ketoprofen)29 Apr 2004 12:19 GMT5
My 12 year old male cat (18 lbs) has been showing signs of reduced
physical ability (not able to jump onto chairs very well, etc), recent
hip x-rays show what appears to be some arthritis, etc etc.
So, I've been doing web searches on stuff like:
Car Ad Continued29 Apr 2004 05:21 GMT37
We all remember this one. Leave it to Ford to blame an ad agency under their
employ for this disgusting commercial. Now the ad agency is trying to state
they also didn't sanction the commercial. Talk about passing the buck!
