Cats Scratching at New Rug18 Mar 2004 07:15 GMT10
We have two one year old occicats, and a brand new living room rug.
They scratched at the old living room rug, but I guess it was made in
a way that it didn't pull, or damage.
The new one, well, let's just say it responds to the cat's scratching

After reading about Dave's kitty, it got me reading more about FeLV. #5

ask the vet about this when Bonnie's booster is due in May.  The healthy

Cat does not always use litter box, he goes on the carpet.
I have been trying to fix a cat urination problem for quite a long
time. I'd like to replace the carpet in my living room, but I don't
want the cat to urinate on it. So, I'd like to fix the cat problem
Scratching and Biting16 Mar 2004 08:22 GMT18
My 9-month old Siamese kitten has a tendency to bite and scratch me.  I
wonder if this is common to the species, and if it will ever end.  I don't
recall this happening with any other cats I have ever owned, but that was
over a decade ago.

Most of you won't know me.  I haven't posted here for probably over a
year...my computer suffered a fatal crash and I never bothered to
rejoin my newsgroups after it was fixed.  But there might be a few who
remember my Nic...my beautiful boy.  I'm not sure why I'm posting

Spraying cat16 Mar 2004 00:07 GMT2
OK, I failed to get my stray neutered in time and he started spraying
two days ago. He has only done it twice so far. That kitty litter A&H
scented baking soda takes care of the smell quickly. Thank goodness! I
won't be able to get him fixed for 2 weeks. I called the vet today and

I have a 7-month old semi-feral that I've been fostering.  Antonio has come
around a lot in the past 2 months I've had him.  He sits near me, even gets
on my lap once in a while.  Recently, like the past week or two, he has
started eating everything!  He eats mashed potatoes, rice, ...
frisky cat?15 Mar 2004 10:24 GMT2
Can a male cat a year & a half old still get 'frisky' even though he was
neutuered when he was six months old?
Does neutering just mean cats cannot have children, but they can still have
sex with other cats?
