My cat wants one!23 Mar 2004 00:29 GMT11
Okay, maybe I'm the one who wants it, but I think she'd love it!  I might
need to get more cats, though, to help justify the expense :-).

pee cleaner?22 Mar 2004 19:09 GMT3
what's the best thing to clean where the cat WON'T STOP peeing on the wool
carpet to get the smell out so maybe she'll stop?  (also planning a
litterbox/litter/configuration overhaul) ...it may be part of the problem
that she won't stop because now she thinks it's where she's ...
Odd Fits of Behavior Siamese Tommy22 Mar 2004 19:04 GMT2
We have a 3 Yo Male siamese cat, Just a big lover, liked his belly scratched and rubs on us all the time. This morning I came back into my bedroom, and he hissed and bolted out the door like he did not know me.He laid down on the LR floor and commenced to growl and his at us and ...
Pleural Effusion Advice22 Mar 2004 05:15 GMT2
Hello to all, and thank you for your time.
Can anyone offer suggestions regarding the treatment of pleural effusion in a 10-year old male longhair?  He presented two months ago with difficulty breathing as a result of the accumulation of fluid in his pleural sac.  As the cause ...
Hairballs & Cod Liver Oil22 Mar 2004 01:52 GMT6
Hello out there,
I recall once being told that a teaspoon (or tablespoon) of Cod Liver Oil
poured over wet cat food will prevent the cat from spewing hairballs.
Anybody got any confirmation on this?
Camera flash21 Mar 2004 23:53 GMT6
Hi there...
I was just getting ready to take pictures of the kittens again for you
guys... and I wondered if now that their little eyes are open or semi open,
if the flash of my camera can damage them? Their eyes I mean?
too fiesty21 Mar 2004 22:48 GMT4
we have a kitty 7 months old-She is a bit perky and plays and love bites
etc. She is not real affectionate to be petted.
I was told she will change as she gets older-they said when she is 2 years
old-she will have changed by then and slow down and become more
Big Boy--Remember me & flying with cat??21 Mar 2004 19:59 GMT11
Well here I am again.  Big Boy is still with me--now runs around in my
bedroom quite nicely--he's discovered my bed which is his very favorite
place to sprawl out...  I'm still desperately looking for a home for him.  I
did find a local no-kill shelter that would take him but before ...
skinny cat21 Mar 2004 19:18 GMT4
I have a 2 year old barn/house cat that we worm as well as her 2 friends. The
other 2 are pleasingly rounded and Tigger is very skinny, she eats but never
puts on any weight. What else?
For Cat fence in people21 Mar 2004 04:23 GMT2
I'm considering getting the "combination" for my deck. I can't enclose it
(apartment rules) but I *can* attach things to the pickets and enclose the
bottom part (railing) as it can't really be seen. My cats are not big
jumpers, any of them really. This *looks* like a good solution. ...
Surprising Shadow21 Mar 2004 04:17 GMT11
This cat never ceases to amaze me. Since he's been on a mainly canned
food diet, plus his pred. every other day (doing well on it, BTW) he
still keeps trying to find Bonnie's food. She still won't eat canned so I
have to hide her food from him, but leave it so *she* can find it ...
Looking at the ceiling21 Mar 2004 02:52 GMT9
Delilah and Stella often stop what they're doing and look up at the ceiling
... almost as if the laser pointer light is there or some such
distraction... but nothing. Does anyone else's cats do this and any idea
why?
Hitting My Cats in the Face21 Mar 2004 02:51 GMT8
OK, now that I've gotten your attention, it isn't as bad as it sounds.
Mickey & Daisy, 14 month old Snowshoe Siamese brother and sister love to play
with one special toy.  I bought a bag of 4 small colored glittery rolled up
aluminum or mylar balls.  They love for me to throw them ...
Product endorsement20 Mar 2004 22:36 GMT8
(No, this isn't spam, and they're not paying me -- just thought it might
be helpful for others.)
Thornell's Cat Odor-Off seems to have squelched the urine odour in the
carpet pretty well, and, to my surprise, actually got out a fair amount
Should I be mad at my sister?20 Mar 2004 08:52 GMT58
My sister has been sort of helping out her neighbor who is dying of
pancreatic cancer.  She's helping to pack up the house, take her to
doctor appointments and all of that.  This woman has two cats, both 11
years old and wnated my sister to have them put to sleep and cremated
