Kittens growing up15 Feb 2004 22:49 GMT18
Some of you might already know that I adopted a 5-week-pregnant feral
around 4 years ago. She was skin and bone, flea infested, and had many
bald spots (ringworm). When she delivered, I took pictures of the
kittens every two days until they were two months old. Here are some
Any CRF Cats in Madison, WI?15 Feb 2004 22:36 GMT3
I have a few things left that I hate to see go to waste. I've got an
almost full  bottle of liquid Amino B-Plex vitamins, a bottle of Well
Tabs multi-vitamins (only missing one pill) & about 1/3 of a bag of
sub-cutaneous fluid with 6 needles.
Science diet Hairball control... side effects?15 Feb 2004 22:20 GMT4
Has anyone else had cats that showed side effects from eating this food.  I
switched about 2 weeks ago, blended it in with the regular science diet.
Since it has been purely hairball control, 2 of my youngest cats are having
vomiting problems.  They are vomiting up small amounts of ...

the middle of the night unearthly vocalizations15 Feb 2004 18:42 GMT2
Have stopped.  They decreased dramatically after we stopped the Valium, but
she's been on phenobarbital for a few days now, and we have had QUIET nights.
We'll see how it does for her other problems, but so far, so good.  The other
good news was that on the vet's scale, she was up ...
Cats and houseplants15 Feb 2004 17:51 GMT7
Has anyone found a way to mix houseplants and house cats successfully?
I have three indoor kitties who love to chew on, play with, and dig up
the few plants I've managed not to kill through general plant-keeping
incompetence. At this point, I'm keeping the plants in my bathroom and
GIVING CAT MEDICINE15 Feb 2004 17:49 GMT1

her without coming back bruised and bloody?
Thank you.

cats with colds: can they get reinfected?15 Feb 2004 10:55 GMT1
my cat caught a cold after going into the vet overnight for a heart
condition, and, because we live in a small place, he wound up giving
it to our other two cats. So, while he appears to be getting back to
normal after 7 days, they're just coming down with it (sneezing,
Innoculations and URIs15 Feb 2004 10:53 GMT3
Here's something I've been puzzling over for a time.
When the parents of our two cats had a URI about a year and a half ago,
after we gave them their innoculation series, it...well, it just  went
away. Granted, though, that they were at this point five or six months of
Kitty Wants Inside more15 Feb 2004 07:54 GMT11
I have a kind of odd question..
We have an inside kitty, Tucker, age 1 (he's only escaped twice, and caught
immediately, so basically he has never been *freed*, but he *wants* to be!

Dog Food For Cats??15 Feb 2004 05:22 GMT2
A cat rescue group I work with has been given a large donation of dog
food...Chicken Soup is the name of some of it. Can we add anything to
make it suitable for cats? Can we mix it with cat food?
It seems to be missing taurine for one ingredient. Taurine is available
