kitty not moving bowels25 Feb 2004 15:38 GMT5
our inside/outside kitty turned up with a limp.  the vet diagnosed a
sprain and a fever (no sign of abcess despite fever). we're now keeping
inside until the leg is better.
we stopped the antibiotic per the vet, because his appetite was nearly
Cat barfs every time she eats after 3-4 hours w/o food.25 Feb 2004 03:59 GMT13
I have a siamese mix, about 3.5 years old, that is fine on her food
(science diet light - she won't eat anything else) unless her bowl is
left empty for a few hours.  When that happens, no matter what I do,
she ends up barfing up whatever she eats.  This has been going on for
mind mapping?25 Feb 2004 03:47 GMT1
familiar with Mind Mapping? a tool popularized by a guy name Tony Buzan
some years ago.  He's made a lot of money on infomercials and padded
books which makes him suspect, but you can't doubt that the brain is
highly visual and that pretty pictures help analysis and memorization.
-Gene pool?24 Feb 2004 21:24 GMT109
If the only cats allowed to breed are the strays and those belonging to
'irresponsible' cat owners what happens to the gene pool in time?  We
are told that prey animals are made stronger as a whole because their
enemies eleminate the weak and old. Would that theory not work in
Corneal ulcer24 Feb 2004 18:45 GMT9
I bought paired cats from a local cat santuary a couple of weeks ago.
Unfortunately, one of them had been diagnosed as having a corneal
ulcer, so the staff at the sanctuary will not let the cats be homed
until they are both at full fitness.

is this normal?24 Feb 2004 13:58 GMT163
My cat Misha is 40 days pregnant today. Everything is going very good. She
seems happy, she "talks" and purrs as much as she always did. She's been
more quiet in the sence that she doesn't play so much or climb the cat tree
so much anymore but I would imagine that is normal. I ...

The truth about Mia... by Mia24 Feb 2004 07:45 GMT2
This is written for people who are interested in knowing the truth. The
how's and why's of the way things happened and came out. I am not expecting
any answers. This is not the purpose of it. I am not defending my actions. I
am defending my love for cats. This is the only thing I ...

mind control23 Feb 2004 14:41 GMT3
The other day my mum's cat looked at me and meowed. As I have for
several years now, I understood her perfectly. She wanted to go out, but
not via the window as usual as her back legs were playing up. So I
opened the front door and let her out. Am I really that good at cat

Bad News23 Feb 2004 14:35 GMT24
I hope everyone will pardon me for posting here about my dog, but I was
hoping you all could send good thoughts Bubbas' way (he is an honorary
cat in my house). He was just diagnosed with advanced stage cancer,
found all over his lungs and a large mass on his heart, plus a ...
My cat has a drinking problem...23 Feb 2004 14:30 GMT7
Hello, all. I'm new to this group and I need some insight about my cat.
She is _strictly_ an indoor cat, always has been. She has lived with me
since she was about sixteen weeks old, and she gets annual checkup, etc.
No medical problems I know of, and her temperament is as she ...
