Last Saturday, "Spitty", our 5.5 year old 20 lb. male tiger threw up a half dozen or so times. Several of our other cats had thrown up over the last few days, so we didn't have a major concern. On Sunday, he threw up a few more times, but drank a little and seemed

It's a cloth tape measure, the kind that is covered with some sort of very supple, transparent plastic or vinyl. :) Cheeks just ..... can't ..... quite ....get a grip on it. Try it! It's a hoot. :) I left the bedroom to post and she's playing

The whiskers of my girlfriend's 6 month old kitten have been breaking off since before he was adopted from a shelter. He's also kind've bony for his age (only 6 lbs). Everyone remarks that they can feel his ribs and spine more than with other kittens, including more than a slinky 5 ...

| Gingivitis-help! | 24 Jan 2004 00:27 GMT | 5 |
My cat is less than two and he has gingivitis. We had him tested for Bartoloma which came back negative. The vet prescribed Arithromax (an antibiotic) to see if this will clear it up, but if it doesn't, she thinks it could be a chonic problem (stomititis or something like that, an ...

| Sea Change in Cat | 23 Jan 2004 18:37 GMT | 12 |
As I posted here several weeks ago, my little cat had an abscess on his rump. After lancing and cleansing over several days (and more loving affection and attention than anyone deserves, except for one's little cat), it now appears to have cleared up completely. No fever, no ...

| My Cat Has No Will To Eat or Drink and Is Very Weak | 23 Jan 2004 02:02 GMT | 63 |
Around Christmas my 8 year old persian-tabby cat Amy developed a limp in her rear right leg, we are not sure what caused it but we believe it was from trying to jump on top of a high counter. Along with the limp she developed a certain listlessness. We took her to a vet and he ...
