Need info about spaying please06 Jan 2004 02:58 GMT16
Not the whys, just the how's. Brio came into heat today and although I'm
terrified of putting my girl through surgery I know it has to be done. Just
thinking about it makes me feel so sad and worried.
Even though she's young (7 months) I'll be getting pre-anaesthetic testing
Getting Fixed05 Jan 2004 21:54 GMT5
I have two young kittens... 3 months and 7 months. A few weeks ago, I posted
that the 7 month old was in heat. She has an appointment for tomorrow for
her fixing and I just had a few questions for those of you that know.
The two cats play a lot together... sometimes roughly so I was ...
Best Window Seat?05 Jan 2004 12:17 GMT21
Cheeks is going crazy trying to watch the little birds who appear to
be trying to build a nest at the top of my office window. But the sill
is too shallow for her to sit comfortably so she has to stretch on tip
toe from the filing cabinet to watch them.
hyperthyroid cat- continuing weight loss- ideas?05 Jan 2004 05:27 GMT4
My little female cat is probably around 12 or 13 yo.  She has always
been a small 6 pound cat.  In early December at her annual
vaccination, she was down to 5 pounds 3 ounces, I had a blood panel
done.  T4 was 16, BUN and creatine were normal.  She was started on
New development in Sick CAT05 Jan 2004 05:25 GMT4
I posted about my cat being sick last week, with vomiting and fever
and diarhea. I took her to my Cousin who is a vet instead of my normal
vet because I owed my normal vet money at the time and did not have
it. I pay my cousin as anyone else, in fact it cost $82. Anyway, she
Waterproof (urine proof?) litterbox mat05 Jan 2004 03:09 GMT9
Hodge has taken to insisting on a plain old open litterbox. I put what I
thought was a waterproof doormat under it, but when he pees just out of
the box (he has bad aim), I find a puddle on the floor. Does anyone know
of a waterproof mat I could put under the box? I looked on ...
Does the new JCPenny commercial bother you?05 Jan 2004 00:12 GMT24
I'm just wanting to get the thoughts of people here.  I know this group is
very vocal towards "cat issues" and I am a little bothered by the new JCP
commercial, but not enough to write, etc.
If you are unsure what I am talking about, they seem to have this new
How much to feed04 Jan 2004 16:24 GMT2
I was reading the feeding instructions on the can of cat food that I usually
feed my cat....Pro Plan Senior....one of those 3 oz. cans (small one).  The
instructions said to feed one can per every 3 lbs. of weight per day.  If
that's the case, then my now already overweight cat of ...
cat falls on side then cries04 Jan 2004 07:59 GMT16
Background:
We have a black indoor cat (probably American Shorthair) adopted from
a shelter 6 years ago at the approximate age of 5 years old. From
early on he had trouble coughing but it was not hairball; this was
blindness tests?04 Jan 2004 03:49 GMT1
I'm curious, what are some initial tests I can do to see if a cat I have
is blind, and what do vets do to test for this?
Granted, she's going on seven, so she could be merely apathetic....
Cat Food and Mad Cow Disease03 Jan 2004 21:42 GMT31
Soooooooo, do any of you wonder about the beef byproducts that
might be in cat food?  I was initially thinking that not feeding
cans of beef would do the trick, but where else might this mystery
meat lurk?
Sick Cat? Please help03 Jan 2004 16:37 GMT4
I was sent an email yestersay, strange though that the person who sent
it NEVER replied to this thread? Hmmmmmm I think it was sent by the
SAME person who sent the last NASTY one. LuvsKat00 this time it was
Dynapink or something like that. Both had the same ISP and I would bet
Separation Anxiety - diarrhea on floor03 Jan 2004 15:46 GMT2
We have a 9 month old, female and an 18 month old, female cat.  They
are both fixed and not related but they get along fine.
The younger cat is very attached to people but me in general.  I have
never seen a cat or kitten that wants to be with and on people as much
Our Siamese is losing hair on his tail and is spreading to his body..03 Jan 2004 10:01 GMT4
My 6 year old Siamese male has recently been losing hair from the tip of his
tail and it is slowly moving in a stripe formation to the base of his body.
He seems to be eating and using the litter box regularly as well as playing
with our other cat (1 year old).
