Indoor cats - do they need vaccinations24 Dec 2003 11:19 GMT5
I have two indoor cats, by which I mean they have never been outside
the falt, and are never allowed so (this is because I live in central
London with heavy traffic, and was advised to raise them as indoor
cats by cat charities for their own safety).
TV show24 Dec 2003 05:13 GMT11
Has anyone seen a show on TV called Pet Keeping?  I've caught it a few Sat
mornings and the guy has some really good tips. Come to find out its a
production of Martha Stewart.  Regardless, it's a neat show. Next week the
host is going to have some "sure fire" tips to keep your ...

Oysters as cat food?23 Dec 2003 18:54 GMT9
Does anyone know about the nutritional value of smoked oysters for
cats or dogs?  My dog ate a 4 oz pack of smoked oysters.  How did this
happen you might ask?
I manage a seafood company and Minakin, my dog, tore into a vaccuum
what to get the cat who has everything?23 Dec 2003 17:36 GMT3
I'd like to get my sweet kitty, Spike,  a new toy for Christmas. He's a
very active and playful 2 year old neutered male. Behaviorally,  he is
still in the kitten/adolescent cat stage. He needs a lot of play to keep
him occupied.
natural remedies?23 Dec 2003 16:41 GMT4
I know someone posted here that they were using a vet that utilized
more natural remedies for common problems, and was wondering if anyone
could suggest a book about this?  I have recently decided that
sometimes strong medicine just isn't the answer.
Tapazole problems23 Dec 2003 16:00 GMT10
My 15 year old tabby began using Tapazole a little over a year ago. He
began to eat better and gained some weight.
A couple weeks ago his progress went downhill and his appetitie greatly
decreased and he has been very quiet. Turns out now his kidneys are bad.
One Person. One Cat. Clipping Tips?23 Dec 2003 13:33 GMT27
This cat, unlike other's I've had, is "extremely uncooperative" when it
comes to toenail clipping (his, not mine). I prefer not to have to keep
hauling him to the vets. Any strategie for a lone person who want to cut
his pet's toenaild? Thanks.
Rhinotracheitis and fertility23 Dec 2003 03:08 GMT4
My female kitten has chronic rhinotracheitis; her first flare-up was at about 5 weeks; she was very
sick at the time.  She has another flare-up anytime she is under stress, and has constant sneezing
and runny eye.  We keep an eye on her condition and she is doing really well.
She ...
Help. Stressed over sick cat23 Dec 2003 02:23 GMT5
My 13 year old diabetic cat Al was hospitalized recently for a week. The
diagnosis was pancreatitis. The vet also performed an ultrasound and
found what he thinks is a benign cyst. Question: is exploratory surgery
the only way the vet can determine whether or not the cyst is ...

First I'd like to say Hi to you guys, I'm a new cat owner, just over 3

Neresse's trip to the vet22 Dec 2003 20:19 GMT11
So we took her to the vet.  The oldest of our girls.  Made mention of her
in a previous post, entitled "silly kitty".
For starters, keep in mind she's always been a small and slightly frail
cat.
Diet advice needed--Webster is fat!22 Dec 2003 17:30 GMT9
My 1 1/2 year old cat Webster was neutred in May at the age of 1 year and then
I adopted him. He weighed just under 10lbs. Now he weighs just under 15lbs!
He's a big guy but that really is too fat!! Also, unlike any other cat I've
ever had, he's got a food addiction--eats anything ...
Cat pooping just outside litter box22 Dec 2003 16:55 GMT7
My roommate and I have 8 month old cat in our apartment.  We just moved him
down here about 2 weeks ago, and he seems to have adjusted quite well,
however we just recently started having a problem with him pooping just out
in front of his litter box.  He pees in there with no ...
Drooling/cat nip?22 Dec 2003 15:06 GMT2
My 2 1/2 yr. old long haired black kitty (Bear) started drooling the
other day so I took him to the vet who could find nothing wrong.  After
I got home I wondered about the cat nip plant I had brought in that he
was helping me clean up.  Could he be allergic to it or something?  ...
