I have had a litter maid since december of last year and have been using the
pet smart store brand advanced stuff, but it has recently went up in price.
It used to be 13 for a 40 lb box and now the boxes are 30 lbs and have a new
odour thing in them and they are 16.  Which is kind ...

Hates being petted, doesn't like to rub up against you,
lives to catch mice.
I want one, what breed should I get.
Thanks,
Training on a Harness & Leash06 Nov 2003 04:38 GMT4
Up until now, I've just been lurking.
I have a 7 1/2 month old greyish brown mackerel tabby named Casey.
We want him to be an indoor cat, but he wants to go outside, attempts to
dart out sometimes, especially when we're letting the dogs out (3 of
Phil...ARF Kitty's Latest Bloodwork06 Nov 2003 03:24 GMT1
Hi Phil,
Just wanted to send another update on #1 and get your opinion.  His
latest numbers are a little disappointing, but I am very grateful that
he's still here with us. I guess I was hoping for a miracle and that
took Natasha to vet this morning06 Nov 2003 01:05 GMT5
Natasha was diagnosed with lymphoma a couple years ago.  She did fine on
Predizone until she started loosing weight again so she was started on
Leukeran a little more than a year ago.  When I took her last May her weight
had gotten up to 6 1/2 pounds.  We had a real hot spell this ...

Hi, our cat had a chest x-ray three months ago that showed everything normal
but the vet said her heart looked mildly enlarged. He advised just rechecking
in three months, since she had had iv fluids that day during a dental cleaning.
We just had her recheck x-ray and he said her ...
Help!  Smokey won't eat!05 Nov 2003 19:35 GMT2
I have a very overweight cat that developed fatty liver, possibly
because I put him on too strict a diet.  I took Smokey to the vet, and
after a week on fluids and medication, his liver readings looked close
to normal. The problem is he still won't eat.  Every day, I force feed
Other than water?05 Nov 2003 14:38 GMT6
Question for you guys, is there anything other that KMR and its clones and
water that I can give my cats to drink?  Trying to come up with a little
variety in drinks for the kids here.
Chicken broth comes to mind, FWIW.
Flat Nosed Cats05 Nov 2003 13:54 GMT14
Instead of lambasting the flat nosed cats why not come up with some constructive
ideas to help the owners of these cats?  We have a Persian with a somewhat flat
face and we purchased him as a kitten.  We wanted a Persian because they are
noted for their docile and loving nature, ...
Natasha05 Nov 2003 09:20 GMT10
She and 14 and has had lymphoma for 2 years now.  She has been on
Predizone every day and Leukeran 3 times a week until recently when it

Is it possible to give a cat too much petroleum jelly? ie Any detrimental
side effects?

Cats and pet birds05 Nov 2003 03:28 GMT5
We recently adopted 2 young female cats (18 months old) from the local
Humane Society. We also have a small parrot. Our previous cats were no
problem with the bird perhaps because they were older. What little interest
they showed was quickly discouraged with a squirt or two of water ...
Feeding sick 8 year old cat05 Nov 2003 02:04 GMT2
As you may have seen from a previous post, my cat has tumors/masses on
his mesentary lining of the intestines. The outcome doesn't look good
and I have chosen to keep him happy at home until I need to make the
next move. His appetite seems to be okay as he is eating, just not as
Hill's Feline S/D, Hill's Feline CD-S05 Nov 2003 01:28 GMT195
This food was prescribed for my cat who just had a urinary blockage
removed. Does anyone know if my other cat (who is in perfect health)
will develop problems if he also starts to eat the Hill's S/D and
Hill's CD-S food as well ?
