Vomitting, Diarrhoea, and Normal Temperature?10 Nov 2003 20:43 GMT2
I am looking for some insights or sugestions based on other cat owners
experience with cats with similar symptoms. I left on an over night
trip on Tuesday, my cat Elliott seemed his usual self when I left.
When I came home on Wednesday night he was listless, had diarrhoea and
older cat10 Nov 2003 19:27 GMT3
I have an older cat (we got her from a shelter 8 years ago and they didn't
know how old she was), who seems to be having some trouble jumping. Jessie
can still get up to chairs, but higher jumps are just not happening. I also
have two 2 year old males who seem to have fun chasing ...
Side effects of Zithromax?10 Nov 2003 18:07 GMT3
Has anyone heard of side effects from Zithromax being used for a feline
respiratory infection?  One of our cats at the sanctuary where I volunteer
was prescribed this medication by the vet.  Within a day she developed
seizures and unfortunately, lived only couple of days.  The vet ...

Hello Group,
We have a Maine Coon Cat. It was obtained from the  Humane Society
The familly that adopted it brought it back and tied it to the fence
that night. It was a very young kitten.
Declawing:  glad I took the time10 Nov 2003 16:12 GMT125
Well, I posted here many months ago regarding a stray that we decided
to spay and keep.  She turned into a beautiful cat with a nice shiny
coat.
She's still outside, and she sleeps on the deck in a nice little
help devising a feeding plan for senior cat who needs to lose weight--please....10 Nov 2003 12:29 GMT19
My brother's cat is seriously obese.  He's a big cat, and would probably
still be about 15 lbs if he were normal, but he sits at about 23 lbs right
now.  My brother says Shiro has a slow metabolism--I'm not sure if this was
a vet's diagnosis, or his own--so he feeds him only 230 ...
Coenzyme Q1010 Nov 2003 02:18 GMT2
Jeremy got me looking at antioxidants again. (thanks.. hehe)  Does
anyone know of any recent studies that show CoQ10 is helpful for
gingivitis in cats?  Some old information I can find on the net didn't
indicate any proof to that effect.  In humans, yes; cats no studies.
kittens playing in litterbox -- help!09 Nov 2003 23:55 GMT3
We have our first kittens, a brother and sister about 11 weeks old.
They came to us litterbox trained and have been good about that, but
they love to play in the litterbox.  We want to train them out of
playing together in the litterbox, but don't want to train them out of
Oblong skin lesions in cat; skin condition or neighbor's tomcat?09 Nov 2003 22:55 GMT4
I have a 7 yr old or so gray tabby cat at 16lbs, Big Boy, who has
gotten several skin lesions on his belly, front, and rear.  I won't
rule out a cat vs cat encounter but wonder why there are so darned
many and if there is a disease causing this.  They seem so round and
Older cat w/dimensia?09 Nov 2003 22:41 GMT3
We have an older cat been in our family all its life.  She is a Calico and
about 18.
Mostly at night she will wander the house making a strange and loud meow
(almost like cats sound when they are mating or fighting).  She will stop

Help! My cat is trying to live somewhere else.09 Nov 2003 17:49 GMT37
I got a cat back eight  months ago ( adult, 4 years old, from cats
protection).
He's been a bit of a juvenile delinquent since I got him - bites ,
scratches, runs away. I've done my best to love him and feed him and give

OK, I give up. I'm getting sick and tired of vacuuming up cat litter that
spills onto the floor or gets dragged there on their little feet. Is there
ANYTHING out there that will not track as much????????
Wish Me Luck09 Nov 2003 04:21 GMT17
I'm taking Ernie into the vet this morning. He's been acting lethargic
since yesterday, walking a little funny in his backlegs. Maybe I'm just
being paranoid, but I'm not taking any chances! I'm worried about
blockage... :(
Good-bye Natasha09 Nov 2003 01:21 GMT11
You gave me 14 1/2 wonderful years.  It will take a long time to get used to
your not being in the house.  I keep expecting to see you.  I will miss
curling up with you at night and hearing your purrs.  I appreciated your
concern and efforts to comfort us when we were worried or ...
