http://www.nbc5.com/travelgetaways/2662716/detail.html
According to NBC5 tv news:
An Oregon family said their cat died because it was not allowed to be carried

IAMS - nutrients30 Nov 2003 17:37 GMT3
I have finally received the nutrient analysis of Iams Original Formula
dry cat food and will share it here. Despite telling me they would only
send the figures on a nutrient density basis, they provided the dry
matter basis %.
My PETA Thread (New Responses) Are Gone. 29 Nov 2003 23:09 GMT11
I changed the PETA thread to more accurately reflect the support of the radical
(criminal) underground.  My responses did not make the newsgroup. Do you think
they were censored?
mutual grooming29 Nov 2003 20:30 GMT10
I found varying descriptions of the significance of mutual grooming in both
books and online.  Some say the "top cat" does the grooming, as a way of
enofrcing dominance by putting some of his scent on the other cat.  Others
say the submissive cat grooms the top cat as a way of ...
Peeing on the tile29 Nov 2003 13:48 GMT3
An associate of mine informs me that a bengal male I sold her will
defecate in the litterbox, and as soon as he finishes cleaning up, will
promptly step out of the litterbox and urinate on the nearby floor. Their
vet isn't sure what to make of it (it's a behavior I didn't see in him
Small Animal Clinical Nutrition book / Mark Morris Institute29 Nov 2003 13:46 GMT69
Just an FYI -
I purchased the SACN, 4th edition recently for some research. A few
interesting things popped out (okay, one I checked on Google):
1. Mark Morris Institute (publisher and contributor) is an arm of Hill's

Cat travel29 Nov 2003 06:39 GMT13
Sorry if this question has been posted before...
We are moving from the UK to France with our 2 cats. It is not
straight forward to fly the cats as there are no direct flights and I
don't like the idea of them going as cargo.
Cats and stoves29 Nov 2003 03:16 GMT38
In the past week, Hodge has taken a sudden interest in jumping on top of
the stove (after a year and nine months of not being that interested at
either the old apartment or the new). Nothing changed (that is, I'm not
putting cat food bowls or anything else enticing on it). It's a ...

I hope all the felines and their humans have a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope it

Follow up on taking Zee B to the vet28 Nov 2003 21:38 GMT3
Some of you may remeber me posting a short while back about Zee Bs' ear
looking odd.  Well I took him to the vet a while back & of course that had
cleared up.
I also mentioned a while back about him having strange patches around his
Help with cat marking28 Nov 2003 17:53 GMT1
My cat Oliver (6 years) has started peeing/marking around the house.  We
found him on the street about 6 months ago, he was alredy neutered, and was
getting along with my cat (3 years) and my dog (with exception of some rough
play and occassional fights with my cat).
How do I stop a cat from peeing on carpet?28 Nov 2003 17:37 GMT3
I have a male cat that does this 1-2 times a week and need some good
suggestions on preventing this. Thanks a million.
Self-nursing behavior in adult cats28 Nov 2003 06:52 GMT2
We have three DSH sisters that we adopted from the animal shelter as kittens
back in 1996. We were told that the trio had been found in a utility shed;
no report on the whereabouts of their mother. They were just a few weeks old
when we got them, and had just been copy protected. ...
