| is this considered animal cruelty? | 13 Oct 2003 17:32 GMT | 19 |
I often go to the house of my friend where there are a lot of stray cats. The super, or handyman of the building often sets up cages to trap these stray cats and I think there is poison inside. He leaves the cats locked inside the cages for 2 to 3 days after they ingested

I might go since it's supposed to rain on Sunday and wipe out the planned bike trip. It's at Madison Square Garden. No TV though. Costs $13 to get in with the $2 off coupon. $8 if a senior (person, not cat). There are supposed to be free samples of food. Maybe some neat

| turd hockey? | 12 Oct 2003 04:17 GMT | 7 |
my two cats have a facination with playing with their turds I've caught them pulling them out of their litter box. I've tried cleaning the box more often and it doesn't matter if there's just one in there they'll play with it. What should I do? I don't want to discipline them to

| Cat has one pupil dilated | 11 Oct 2003 22:19 GMT | 7 |
The vet found an ulcer on my cat's left eye. He gave me 3 ointments for it (atropine, trifluridine, and triple antibiotic). Since I started applying the meds, the eye's pupil has been dilated all day. Is this normal, or should I take the cat back to the vet?

I was thinking of purchasing a Delonghi oil filled sealed radiator type model but I'm worried about my pet getting burned since she likes to run around the house on occasion. Some reviews on Amazon.com say that there is a danger of children and pets getting burned yet others ...

| Why the tiger almost killed Roy. | 11 Oct 2003 18:50 GMT | 68 |
I'm pretty sure most of you have heard of Siegfried & Roy and their tigers. In case you haven't heard, one of the tigers finally mauled their "trainer" Roy. (BTW, I am very against "training" wild animals to perform for human

Over the past few months one of my male cats, Murdoc (neutered) has been spraying in the house more than usual and in the last few weeks it's turned into a full scale pee. He starts to spray and then it seems as if he can't stop and it turns into a pee.

| Outside pet warmer? | 11 Oct 2003 16:43 GMT | 3 |
My cat Sully had a bad RTA about a year ago now, and we were told when we got him from the RSPCA that in his older days and during winter (or damp days) that he might feel his joints aching more than when it's nice and warm (as he'll probably end up with arthritis when he's older).

| Will this work to get rid of fleas? | 11 Oct 2003 04:27 GMT | 3 |
I found some flea drops at a store that only contain the IGR Precor (methoprene). So they're only good for preventing the eggs from maturing for up to three months. If I use that on my indoor only cats and brush them with a flea comb at least once a day, will that be a
