our kitten's first? trip to the vet...07 Oct 2003 03:08 GMT4
Hello... I took our kitten to the vet on Wednesday to spayed.  When I
picked
her up on Thursday, the vet told me something interesting.  When she was
opened
Medicine prescribed to cat: Albon Suspension06 Oct 2003 21:42 GMT4
What is "Albon Suspension"?  What was it prescribed to treat?
update on Sully06 Oct 2003 17:26 GMT3
Sully seems to be back to his usual self now.
Saturday night (when my parents were over for a meal with my bf & I) he went
in his litter tray and did a 'motion' ... and boy could we tell as he stank
the room out! At least the catalax seems to have worked, and he's playing
Drontal- deworming06 Oct 2003 14:32 GMT3
My cat is an in- and outdoor cat.
Because he got worms several times when I lived in California, I
started deworming him once a month with Drontal...and I used Advance
against the flees.
Duffy the Acrobat (new photos)06 Oct 2003 02:09 GMT2
Some of you have followed the story of Holly and Duffy. Holly is my black
cat, the one we used to call "the black tornado" because she was so
aggressive toward any other cat. Duffy is my blind cat (gray with white
markings), adopted several months ago and integrated into an ...

them to it them. Now i have just read an article where it is said that

Cats and International Air Travel05 Oct 2003 20:43 GMT4
In a recent posting a group member asked about travelling with their cat on
airlines.
Many of the repliers seemed very much against having a cast travel in the
cargo section.
Using a water bottle?05 Oct 2003 17:34 GMT14
One of our cats insists on dipping his paw in the water bowl and licking the
water off his paw.  This results in a huge amount of water getting on the
floor.  I have tried to work around this by putting the bowl on a tray, on a
mat, on a towel.  None of those things really helps.  I ...
another question in anticipation of a new cat - declawing?05 Oct 2003 16:15 GMT11
hi everyone. i'm planning on getting a cat and i've never had one
before. i just wanted to get some opinions on declawing. i've heard
both sides from my friends, but wanted to get some more ideas. also,
just wanted to let everyone know that i am excited to get involved in
Well....thank you05 Oct 2003 07:47 GMT15
My first foray into this newsgroup was not a nice one. Except for a very
select few who responded with caring and kindness (and to those, thank you
very much), the rest of those who responded were not very nice to me. I
didn't post to ask for your approval or your lectures....I was ...
www.fredcat.net05 Oct 2003 05:21 GMT1
Tomorrow, October 4, is Fredcat The Famous' birthday!  He refuses to
disclose his actual year of birth (you know what a pain famous beings are re
their dates of birth ...)
Anyway.  You can visit his website to help him celebrate his birthday
Sounds your cat makes05 Oct 2003 02:35 GMT6
I know this sounds so silly almost ridiculous! but my cat - when she sees me in
the morning (she's at her friendliest and most affectionate - because its
feeding time!) and I'm cuddling her and petting her - she makes a sound  which
sounds so much like she's saying a word - "wa - ...
Distemper05 Oct 2003 00:35 GMT7
Newbie here...thanks in advance if any of you can answer my questions about
distemper.  Stopped at the local humane society today and fell in love with an
adorable 16 week kitten.  He's alert and lively and a little purr-machine.
HOWEVER, the shelter worker said he and his two ...
Amber lost a tooth05 Oct 2003 00:16 GMT9
My 9 year old, Amber, lost one of her upper fangs today.  I found it on
the floor and it looks like it broke off.  She eats mostly canned food -
only nibbles on dry if she wants me to give her more wet.  She seems to
be eating normally.  I guess this means a trip to the vet next ...
