Scabs on kittens tails and feet19 Sep 2003 09:21 GMT1
Help - A stray cat recently had a litter of kittens in our garage. We
have decided to raise them until they are old enough to give away. At
about 2 weeks old, we noticed that their tails and feet were covered
with scabs. The tips of two kittens tails have actually fallen off.
Peewee update19 Sep 2003 09:19 GMT16
For those following the sick Pee-wuss...
He has been home since Sunday PM.  Was happy to be home
(puur-machine), but pretty sickly.  Won't each much, but was able to
keep a little down Sun PM. and Monday.  This AM actually pooped
Older Cat (Hopefully Arthritis?)19 Sep 2003 07:07 GMT10
My almost 17 1/2 year old feline companion is generally in good health
(confirmed by the vet within the past year).  This summer he periodically has
trouble walking, but it usually only lasts for a few minutes to a half hour or
so (depending on what he's doing).  Lately he ...
Let cat outside or keep it in?19 Sep 2003 00:43 GMT34
Hi, we have a 3 yr. old cat.  For the first 2 1/2 yrs. of his life, he has
never been outside... we lived in an apartment, and the closest he could
get was on the second floor porch, with no route to outside.
Now we own a house with about 1.5 acre or so, a portion of it wooded and
I have to decide to euthanize my cat19 Sep 2003 00:31 GMT12
I just got back from my vet a few hours ago who determined that my cat
has a large abdominal tumor, says it's definitely advanced and
combined with other symptoms (loss of appetite - I could only get her
to eat about a tablespoon of wet food this morning - fever and
Nature's Miracle for cat pee odor and stains18 Sep 2003 20:51 GMT1
I have heard alot about how good Nature's Miracle is for pee odor and
stains so I tried it since my 18 year old siamese female(who has
always been a very good cat) started peeing in the corners of my
living room and of course I have carpeting.  So I tried Nature's
dislocated leg, 12m/40ft fall, to have surgery or not...?18 Sep 2003 18:24 GMT5
We are still upset and shocked. Fifi, our 3 year old chinchilla, fell
out of our kitchen window on the 4th floor. She landed badly, and
dislocated her right back leg at the hip joint and also broke her
right foot.
neighbour's cat is a bully18 Sep 2003 17:58 GMT6
I need some cat advice!
I have two cats that, until about two months ago, were perfectly happy
to go out and about.  There are quite a few cats in the neighbourhood,
and they all lived happily together.
What's the best way to deter our cat from scratching at our bedroom door?18 Sep 2003 15:38 GMT9
With my husband's allergies and our soon-to-be-arriving baby that we will be
cosleeping with, we made the decision a few weeks ago to keep the cats out
of the bedroom.  We are extremely happy with the decision and we are both
breathing better at night (we are both slightly allergic ...
Re:  I found a lump18 Sep 2003 12:06 GMT6
Just back from the vet's... she suspects a vaccine associated sarcoma.  It
has been 3 years since a rabies vaccine at this site.  She is getting a
consult from Cornell.  We will be making an appt there for whatever
treatment they suggest.
Cat Grass18 Sep 2003 00:01 GMT7
Hi, I've bought my cat some cat grass, it's about 3in high now and I think
ready for him to eat. Do I leave it on the plant for him to munch or should
I cut it off? Do I need to "mow" it and how long should the plant last?
He's already helping himself to it and he seems to be ...

Cat Rescue Groups in AZ17 Sep 2003 02:53 GMT2
I just complied a list of cat rescue groups in the Phoenix, AZ area for a
co-worker who has a mom and baby kittens in her backyard.  Unfortunately, she
is not much of a cat lover and doesn't want to keep them or find homes for
them.  She only spotted them today so does not yet even ...

I am new to this board and have 2 adorable (VERY) and loving persian
kittens that are now about 6 months old.  (and 9 year old bunny)
