Thank you and an update!29 Sep 2003 18:20 GMT6
Hello :)
I wanted to thank everybody that replied to my post about an abandoned kitten
on Thursday. I truly appreciate all the advice and informative links. I decided
on Thursday, just as it was getting dark, to bring the sweet little kitten into
I SAW A CAT HIT BY A CAR LAST NIGHT! :o(29 Sep 2003 18:05 GMT13
I haven't written here in a while, but I"M really really upset and
looking for some support. Last night about 12am midnight. I had my
cats outside in the front yard. One on a harness and long leash and
the other just free. We do this every night when I get home from work.
Unbelievable BS! WRT declawing from the SFVMA29 Sep 2003 16:05 GMT2
I am appalled. This jerk is no friend to cats and obviously has no
ethics as evidenced by his blatant promotion of lies and distortions.

going blind?29 Sep 2003 15:50 GMT2
My kitten has an eye infection that won't go away.  Her third eyelid is
swollen and inflamed and now the eye is starting to cloud over.  Right
now she gets oral antibiotics twice a day and eye cream 3 times a day.
But she has been getting this almost two weeks and it is not getting
cat is constantly stressed29 Sep 2003 14:46 GMT6
Our cat is being bullied by another cat on our street.
It is now reluctant to go outside and has recently begun chewing its feet
causing them to bleed.
Does anyone have any advise on how to deal with a problem like this?
Neutering and its effects28 Sep 2003 21:42 GMT24
Hi, I had my five month old kitten neutered last Tuesday, everything went
great and he has recovered extremely well from his "ordeal". My question is
how long is it usually before you might see a difference in the cats
personality? I think there are some changes already such as he ...
protect persian rug, declaw not an option28 Sep 2003 18:27 GMT29
Hiya.
Have a supremely annoying and occasionally affectionate 9-month old
kitten and an older and loving tuxedo cat.  Was just given a
magnificent persian rug but it'd be a shame if the kitten tore it to
Cat with bowel problem28 Sep 2003 06:04 GMT7
I am writing this for my Mom, she does not compute!
She has an approx. 6-8 mo. old male neutered cat.  The last few weeks
he has started screaming when he has a bowel movement, he is not
constipated, occasionally it is a little loose and he gets it all over
Fighting Kittens28 Sep 2003 04:02 GMT12
We have had Neo for about 9 weeks now, he is a healthy male of 15 weeks.
Last week, we decided to pick up Neo a playmate.  An addorable female gray
tabby.  All is not well in paradise.  Neo is constantly chasing, hissing,
swatting, and "hunting" little Madeline.  Madeline does not ...
Abandoned kitten?27 Sep 2003 06:04 GMT5
Hello :)
This morning my son informed me that when he went to the mailbox around 8`ish ,
he heard a kitten crying somewhere outside. A few hours later my husband went
into the garage and heard a kitten crying. We followed the sound and it lead us
Cat doesn't want to stay indoors27 Sep 2003 04:30 GMT22
Looking for some advice concerining my 15 year old (that's OAP status,
right?) cat here...
Over the last couple of months my cat has spent as much time as she
possibly can outdoors and is really reluctant to stay indoors.  It's got
The $600 furball (Peewee Update)27 Sep 2003 04:28 GMT10
Well, it seems the Peewuss is majorly on the mend.  He passed yet
ANOTHER huge furball - this time barforola-ed it all over the room
this morning, but I'm pretty sure that this giant furball was the main
cause of his problem.  This cat has been on hairballl remedy food for
Jake the cat (stray cat update)27 Sep 2003 02:17 GMT3
Jake the stray I rehomed a bit over a week ago is doing great with his
new Paw.  He is already getting harness trained and accepting it fine.
He's had a rough week with the hurricane that came through but better
than weathering it outdoors.  His new home got flooded and he pawed at
Cat videos27 Sep 2003 02:01 GMT1
I thought you might find some videos I ran across interesting.  The quality
is not great, but...
You need to click on "cat fan."  While pretty disturbing as to the cat's
experience, it's also amazing as to how cats get into things...  That poor
Cat Cries in the Morning27 Sep 2003 01:27 GMT2
Recently my four-year-old cat has started crying in the morning.  Not for
long, but enough to indicate that something is wrong.  This only happens in
the morning.  Is there such a thing as cats being constipated?  If so, is
there anything to be done?
