| Cat Bites | 04 Sep 2003 10:16 GMT | 18 |
My cat bit me (in spite of heavy gloves) while trying to stuff her in the cat carrier on the way to the vet today. Several times on one finger in fact. Now that finger is swollen. No chance of rabies, since this is an in door cat - just the two of us now. Has anyone had any ...

| Outdoor to Indoor | 03 Sep 2003 20:04 GMT | 7 |
I have four cats, two of whom were strays accustomed to fending for themselves out doors. I've managed to get them to tolerate being indoors overnight, but they still very much enjoy the outdoor life during the day. Since they don't roam out of the yard very often, I've felt that ...

| BIO Spot VS. FRONTLINE | 03 Sep 2003 11:23 GMT | 1 |
I was wondering what was better for cats, bio spot or frontline? My house was infested with fleas (I rent and it was the previous owner's fault) and even though I had an exterminator in here last week, my cats had a flea bath but both the house and cats are still crawling with ...

| Ear Mites | 03 Sep 2003 01:09 GMT | 2 |
I just got a cat, less than 1 yr old. My daughter who knows more about cats than me tells me that he may have ear mites because he shakes his head as if something were irritating him. How do I know if a cat has ear mites, and what should one

I thought I would start a new thread and the other is getting unwieldy. Let's take a look at this from another angle. ONLY for the sake of argument, let's suppose Ann Martin is right and

| Antibiotics for upper respiratory illness | 02 Sep 2003 21:05 GMT | 5 |
My 14-week old kitten Fracas has still not completely overcome the illness that causes him to sneeze rapidly about 4-30 consecutive times, mostly in the morning just before I give him a refrigerated liquid suspension of amoxicillin.

| Pepcid -- How much? | 02 Sep 2003 07:32 GMT | 4 |
I forgot, is it a half or a whole Pepcid for a cat? Kami doesn't seem to feel well today, like she's hungry but not interested in the food (I tried other treats in case I got a bad can, and it's no cheese or tuna, either). I thought maybe she has a little upset tummy.

| Is Advantage safe? | 02 Sep 2003 07:03 GMT | 6 |
My vet really pushes Advantage as the best flea remedy for my cat, but I worry about all of those chemicals - both for her health and my own. Is Advantage really ok to use? Are there other alternatives for getting rid of fleas?
