Filthy cat quiz =^__^=04 Sep 2003 13:46 GMT2
Hallo all!!
Since whatever this is it's going to kill me before it kills the cat, I
decided to wait until the only vet I trust returns from the holidays (next
week). But I'm curious, so... what do you think it is?
Cat Bites04 Sep 2003 10:16 GMT18
My cat bit me (in spite of heavy gloves) while trying to stuff her in the cat
carrier on the way to the vet today. Several times on one finger in fact. Now
that finger is swollen. No chance of rabies, since this is an in door cat -
just the two of us now. Has anyone had any ...

Outdoor to Indoor03 Sep 2003 20:04 GMT7
I have four cats, two of whom were strays accustomed to fending for
themselves out doors.  I've managed to get them to tolerate being indoors
overnight, but they still very much enjoy the outdoor life during the day.
Since they don't roam out of the yard very often,  I've felt that ...
Petgold Mite-X Ear Mite Remedy03 Sep 2003 14:24 GMT1
Has anyone tried PetgGld Mite-X Ear Mite Remedy before ?  I noticed
when I used it on my cat that the inside of her ears got a little red
and they even felt warm to the touch.  They did not look that way
before adding the meds.  I am wondering if possibility if they could

Jenny Craig might want to recruit a new type of client - the kind with
whiskers, paws and pointy ears.

BIO Spot VS. FRONTLINE03 Sep 2003 11:23 GMT1
I was wondering what was better for cats, bio spot or frontline?  My house was infested with fleas (I rent and it was the previous owner's fault)  and even though I had an exterminator in here last week, my cats had a flea bath but both the house and cats are still crawling with ...
Ear Mites03 Sep 2003 01:09 GMT2
I just got a cat, less than 1 yr old. My daughter who knows
more about cats than me tells me that he may have ear mites
because he shakes his head as if something were irritating him.
How do I know if a cat has ear mites, and what should one
Ann MArtin claims debate03 Sep 2003 00:43 GMT18
I thought I would start a new thread and the other is getting
unwieldy.
Let's take a look at this from another angle.
ONLY for the sake of argument, let's suppose Ann Martin is right and
Antibiotics for upper respiratory illness02 Sep 2003 21:05 GMT5
My 14-week old kitten Fracas has still not completely overcome the illness
that causes him to sneeze rapidly about 4-30 consecutive times, mostly in
the morning just before I give him a refrigerated liquid suspension of
amoxicillin.

Tuna as an allergen02 Sep 2003 12:46 GMT8
Does anyone know if tuna is a common allergen in cats?  Since
Shamrocks last steroid shot 2 months ago, his fur has grown back .  He
used to only go about a month before the itching started again so
badly that he would bite himself raw.  Today I noticed that he is
HELP! We need advice!!! :(02 Sep 2003 12:40 GMT8
We have a 7yr. old male cat and a 2yr. old female cat. They are both nuetered
and are indoor/outdoor, but mostly indoor. We adopted a female kitten. The 2
yr. female had a complete personality change. She only comes in the house to
eat and pee on the rug!!!! She hisses, growls and ...
Pepcid -- How much?02 Sep 2003 07:32 GMT4
I forgot, is it a half or a whole Pepcid for a cat?  Kami doesn't seem
to feel well today, like she's hungry but not interested in the food (I
tried other treats in case I got a bad can, and it's no cheese or tuna,
either).  I thought maybe she has a little upset tummy.
Is Advantage safe?02 Sep 2003 07:03 GMT6
My vet really pushes Advantage as the best flea remedy for my cat, but I
worry about all of those chemicals - both for her health and my own. Is
Advantage really ok to use? Are there other alternatives for getting rid of
fleas?
