Hi Group,
As many of you know, I have 11 indoor cats,
well, 10 now. Old Buster (a beautiful tuxedo
male) passed away last weekend. He went
Vet Injured Cat?30 Sep 2003 23:36 GMT9
I had the vet treat my cat for ear mites. I suspect the
vet hurt my cat.
Supposedly they cleaned his ears out and treated him
with Acarexx.
litter containment30 Sep 2003 21:55 GMT2
Okay, I'm hoping some of you creative cat owners have come up with a
solution to the inevitable litter trail that seems to surround any litter
box.  I have a large Booda brand covered litter box, outside of which I've
put two large carpet samples and one of those rubber litter ...

We have two cats, Callie and Flower. Callie is 16 months, Maine Coon
mix and was adopted at 6 months old from the Anti-Cruelty Society in
Swheat Scoop Recommendation -- Retracted30 Sep 2003 21:06 GMT10
Okay, I'm tired of this stuff.  It didn't have the curative effect on
Kami's allergy eyes I had hoped for, but I kept using it because I
thought it was good to use something so totally biodegradable.  You
know, when it's wet it really stinks.  It smells like a barn or rotting

My 5 year old female cat had sores in her mouth, blood would not clot and
respiratory congestion. She had to be forced fed, too. She recently passed on .
Has anyone owned a cat with such problems?  Thanx, Tina
Update:  New kitten bites cat's ears and they bleed30 Sep 2003 04:28 GMT1
I can't view the original thread for some reason, so I cannot see any
of the responses!  But, here's an update:
The day after I posted, my cat's ears looked REALLY bad.  We took him
to the vet the next day and the poor baby had ear mites.  He got
Medicating male sprayer30 Sep 2003 04:05 GMT23
Has anyone else here medicated their cat to stop him/her from spraying? We
just started researching this option and discovered that there are several
drugs that can be used and several that we would never consider due to some
of the side effects. Also, would a behaviorist be ...

Your opinion please. My upcoming holiday29 Sep 2003 20:47 GMT11
Every year I return to our house in another state (2hrs flight) and spend a
month there (X'mas and NY hols). Should I bring my cat with me. This will be
the first time she flys. She's 5 yrs. I've had her for a few months already.
She's in good health but very skittish. Vet said she ...
Blood in stool?29 Sep 2003 20:21 GMT3
Last night when my husband and I got home, one of our cats had an accident.
This was the first time she had ever done this since we got her more than
two years ago.  I was not cross with her about it, because a) she'd
obviously had diarreah, b) she went on the carpet right outside ...

see any difference at all, has anyone else found the ...

We rescued a siamese blue point kitten from my grandmothers house.  A stray

one.
Since the kitten was wild for about 4 weeks it has picked up a nasty
