Defacation problem08 Jul 2003 13:02 GMT2
Ok, I've got this wonderful cat that has had this problem for several years
now, and maybe someone here can help.
He is a mixed breed, but beautiful animal. I got him from my vet when he was
a kitten. He is neutered/declawed (front). He is approximately four years

We have a beautiful  8 month old, spayed, has all her shots, manx
kitten.  She is lovely to look at, orange tabby and amber eyes.  She is
also the spawn of demon cats everywhere!!!
Neither my husband nor myself has ever experienced the nonsense this
The problem with Arthur......07 Jul 2003 19:17 GMT1
Our cat, yes he's white, has recently started to paw his eyebrow area.
He makes his face quite red and can cause bleeding.
We've had him in a 'lampshade' for a week to stop him and the problem
cleared.  However, we've just took the collar off and he's done it again!

does the No-Scratch spray work?07 Jul 2003 09:23 GMT4
Rizzo is doing a number on my TV speaker grilles with his claws.  This is
despite having ready access to several scratching posts.  I was able to
break Jack of the habit with the pennies-in-a-can bit, but Rizzo ignores it.
They somehow manage to pull off the double-sided tape I ...
Curious about rabies07 Jul 2003 08:16 GMT7
I was thinking about this last night. Yesterday I found and caught a
stray/feral kitten, which managed to give me a bite (mistaking my thumb for
food rather than out of fear/aggression!) This is not the first time I've
been bitten by a feral. Fortunately in Australia we don't have ...
Kitten - Health problems 07 Jul 2003 04:14 GMT4
My kitten is just over 4 months old. I got her just over a week ago - she
wasn't entirely healthy then - was still sneezing and coughing (from the
kennel flu), but on the way to recovery. She finally stopped sneezing and
coughing within the first few days being at home, and her eyes ...

Feliway spray/diffuser UK06 Jul 2003 15:37 GMT1
(Sorry if you see this twice - first post doesn't seem to have appeared)
Hello, I've been reading about Feliway spray and/or diffuser and think it is
what I am looking for for my worried cat.
He's a big lovable puddin' but not very brave and the sight of other cats
Here we go again  URI06 Jul 2003 06:00 GMT2
I got a foster cat in March of this past year and decided to keep her
for myself.  May 7th I took her to the vet for an URI and she was on
Amoxidrops and an eye ointment for 2 and a half weeks. She was also
secluded during this time. She cleared up nicely and have seen no
New boy under the bed06 Jul 2003 04:36 GMT4
I picked up a new playmate for Espy. I went into the wilds of New
Jersy yesterday with my co-worker and made friends with his cat Nipsy,
and then took him with me. That was the plan. Nipsy showed up outside
their door a few months back and they fed him. Then, after he was
Hairball problem?06 Jul 2003 03:36 GMT14
My 4-year old kitty has thrown up 3 times today.  This morning it was last
night's food.  A couple of hours later it was a clear, thick liquid.  Just a
few minutes ago it was 2 lumps of brown stuff that looked like matted hair.
Since this is July 4th, my vet isn't in but hopefully ...
Feline leukemia vaccine??06 Jul 2003 03:10 GMT4
I'd like to know what the opinion's are  on the feline leukemia vaccine.
Whiskers was an indoor cat for her first eight months, but then I made
the mistake of taking her out on a halter and leash. She then started
driving me crazy as she wanted to be taken out all the time. I ...
