Remember my Wells Fargo problems. . .12 May 2008 04:07 GMT112
I was told the other day that the FBI is investigating "Country Wide"
mortgage company along with Wells Fargo Mortgage company.  And guess why
they're being checked out.  Yup, they were claiming that people weren't
making their payments when they were, and were trying to ...
The trip is off12 May 2008 03:59 GMT45
I've let Ginger-Lyn down and Rob as well.  We got our SS rebate in the bank
today.  It was half what we were supposed to get.  Worse, I'm in the hole
cash wise.  So I checked out the account and there is a $950.67 withdrawal
that I know nothing about.  I'm going to see what is ...
Social scratching12 May 2008 03:41 GMT7
Sometimes Miranda just melts my heart, she's so cute.
We have a new routine where I go over to the cat tree and scratch one of
the levels with both hands, just like a cat getting really into
sharpening its claws on a level surface. Miranda will then come running,
Ghost ship?12 May 2008 03:20 GMT12
Amanda (RB) and Batley (RB) wanted to go on the "Mouser" this year, but
sadly, they went to the Bridge. So, Amanda whispered in my ear this am -
can there be a "Rainbow Mouser", for the ones who have gone ahead? She
has gone to the seaport and saw this beautiful tri-mast ship, ...
cats & hens12 May 2008 03:18 GMT5
well, the felines & the hens are getting along famously. That is, the hens
ignore the cats walking by the hen run and the cats (Francis especially) can
be *fascinated* by the feathered residents. But he's seemingly not
fascinated in an "I'm going to eat you" way, but in a "Go on, ...
A couple bad but some good things12 May 2008 02:01 GMT57
One  My vet has retired  it is good for him since he has been my vet for
over 24 years and has done wonders to help the community.  He saved so many
animals I can't  count that high.  The bad thing is his two partners one is
a hopeless idiot the other is a cold person good vet ...

Aby tried to eat12 May 2008 00:51 GMT6
I guess the force-feeding got his appetite to wake up, because this morning
he showed strong interest in food and tried to eat on his own. Unfortunately
he was unable to do it, so he got babyfood again, via syringe. He seems a
bit less wobbly today - another 5%, I would guess - ...
Holly takes control12 May 2008 00:50 GMT6
I was grading papers yesterday when the ceiling fan suddenly turned itself
on (high setting, of course).  Then it turned itself off.  I glanced
around...and discovered that Holly was walking on the remote control.
Do you suppose she was trying to tell me something?  Like, "Forget ...

Breaking long silence to ask for mega purrs for Abelard, who may be dying. I

And now, I must ask for purrs for my little guy.
It started a bit after 12 noon, Aby was laying in my lap, all seemed well,

Got a knock on the door this afternoon from my ex-next door neighbour's son.
Thelma was widowed suddenly and moved a mile or so away with her cat into a
bungalow.
This is the house that has been redeveloped and I've been having so much
Abelard Saturday11 May 2008 21:44 GMT14
He spent the night isolated in the bathroom with no light. Had a pill @ 10
PM and I made him swallow some tuna juice from a spoon tipped into his
mouth. He was not amused.
First thing this morning he used the litterbox - the poo was not much, dark
