| Oh the puddles they make: about sleeping selections | 30 Jun 2009 23:47 GMT | 3 |
It is cooler for now at Chez Shirk, so the cat puddles aren't as obvious, though there are still zones of ooziness around here. Currently, Rob and I are playing on our computers in the dining room, an area that tends to get hot and stuffy. Speedy was just let in from the out ...

| The girls' big (scary) adventure! | 30 Jun 2009 03:39 GMT | 1 |
The three kitties have a habit of jumping up onto the window whenever they hear something interesting outside, so they can see what's going on. They'll sprawl on the back of the couch and watch the world go by in comfort... and go on high alert if they hear voices or footsteps

| Bad dream | 30 Jun 2009 00:33 GMT | 6 |
This might be a TW for the ultra sensitive, but I had a sad dream that involved the death of a completely fictional cat. Actually, I dreamed I was watching a movie about a guy who had found this adorable, really affectionate grey cat with faint white stripes.

| Heat Wave Finally Breaking | 29 Jun 2009 23:45 GMT | 6 |
Maybe I can get some sleep, finally? It's been near 100 F. with high humidity for the last week+. Saturday was particularly miserable, it was still near 90 at 10 PM. But a few minutes ago the wind picked up and now it's starting to rain!
