two rude awakenings04 Nov 2008 17:49 GMT4
This morning, as I was just starting to wake up, I stretched my legs, and
one foot poked out from under the covers.  Unfortunately, I accidentally
poked Cinders, who was asleep on that section of the bed.  She expressed
her displeasure by slapping my toe with her claws out.  It ...
It's raining, it's pouring04 Nov 2008 07:44 GMT7
my kitty cat is snoring :)
Persia is on one of the chairs snoring her head off.  My mother had me put a
sheet over the living room sofa so Persia wouldn't shed on it.  Well, it
never occurred to her Persia would take a liking to the Thai silk cushions

Kitty Crisis Averted04 Nov 2008 06:02 GMT8
Sheesh, guess what?  I go out to feed the outdoor kitties about 8am
and there is the teeniest, tiniest baby kitten out there, seriously
not more than 3 weeks old, if that.  It was easy to get cuz it's so
tiny it couldn't get away.  It was actually marked a lot like Google,
Six months04 Nov 2008 05:31 GMT6
It has been six months now since Shadow decided to move in. The
transformation has been incredible, he's such a loving cat who talks a lot
he also often plays like a kitten. When I think of how he was before he was
neutered it's wonderful how relaxed and happy he is now.
Update 3 on my mother04 Nov 2008 05:14 GMT17
Now they're doing surgery even though they said her heart wasn't strong
enough to withstand it.  Apparently it's a better choice than dosing her
constantly with pain medication.  I don't expect her to survive it.
I can't find Persia!  I need my kitty.
TW Purrs for some lost souls, please :(04 Nov 2008 05:02 GMT5
Local Pet store, Delilah's (in Bloomington, IN), caught fire this
morning at approximately 6am local time. I let my sub to the local paper
lapse and cannot read the whole story, but the headline is that 22 cats
and dogs perished in the fire.  12 were rescued and ferried (by a ...
Cat Toys in The Bathroom04 Nov 2008 03:57 GMT23
We have two bathrooms in our mobile home, and when I am spending a lot of
time, 'sitting'  in mine, I keep a few cat toys in there, because I get
little  fuzzy 'visitors'.
I tried to keep the door shut, but why?  There's no one else around and they
OMG I Printed Something!04 Nov 2008 00:31 GMT7
In all these years Persia has never paid a lick of attention to my printer.
I just printed something and all of a sudden she's poking her nose in it.
What's this?  What's it doing?  Why is it doing that?  Is it EVIL?  Should I
stop it?  How can I stop it?  Oh no, it's spitting ...

Is there something about cats can't eat dog food or dogs can't eat cat food,
or shouldn't?  Seems I heard something like that.
I want Sadie to eat dry, not wet all the time.  Have tried three kinds and
she won't eat the dry.  Tonight, I heard her chomping away on the cat food.
Dear Hoolicat Class of 2008:  Please send food!!02 Nov 2008 22:50 GMT7
There is no food in this house....anywhere. I am a starving cat! Meeka
says she is hungry as well. We may have to leave this fine home if
food isn't provided soon.  It has been at least 6 hours since I ate
last and until today there has always been food available.  This is
Ping-A-Fursary02 Nov 2008 22:29 GMT8
Tomorrow (Oct 30) is the Four Year Anniversary that Ping announced in
his Meezer voice that he was in our basement, and wanted to live
upstairs with us!
Purrs for My Mom? She's in the Hospital (OT)02 Nov 2008 22:26 GMT26
Mom's doctor was in the neighborhood visiting another patient so he dropped
in to see how she's doing.  After talking with both of us he said he'd
really like to get her admitted for some tests.  She agreed to go.  The was
no way she walk out to the car so I could drive her over ...
