Speaking of Microchips...05 Aug 2008 04:55 GMT17
If your cat is chipped (Persia is even though she's an indoor cat) and you
move, even temporarily, please remember to update the information so the
chip scan will be accurate.

Muzzling cats' noses04 Aug 2008 22:56 GMT11
Lately, Martha our adorable tortie encourages me to make a circle with
my thumb and forefinger, then she shoves her little muzzle into it.
Idon't think this is especially odd because most cats like to have
their heads and faces mauled. Does your cat like the muzzle muzzling
Shadow chased the red dot Greebling04 Aug 2008 21:36 GMT6
He's such a laid back cat I wondered how he'd react, he chased it all round
the room for ten minutes then stared at the spot on the wall where it
disappeared for abbot twenty. :-)
PIZZA!!!!  Here's your new thread Matthew04 Aug 2008 05:36 GMT45
When we were down in Florida, Matthew and Christine were discussing home
made pizzas and how to properly make them.  Matthew not only knows
extensively about them, but is very artistic with the hand and arm gestures
when talking about making the crust.  I wouldn't know about ...
OT, but cute: raccoon family04 Aug 2008 03:48 GMT13
I use the local wildlife as garbage disposers - their game trail to the
pond runs between my house and workshop so I'm not attracting them by
throwing out food: they come that way by themselves. I also use them to
dispose of leftover kibble. Tonight, there was quite a bit, but no ...

Sherry,
Just testing to see if you see my post. If you do, could you post a
quick response to let me know? Thanks.
Savannah cats banned from Australia03 Aug 2008 23:58 GMT6
Savannah cats - crosses between domestic cats and the wild African serval -
have been banned in Australia as they pose a very high threat to native
fauna.

Going home03 Aug 2008 23:26 GMT5
I'm planning to go home on Wednesday. The trip is always an ordeal,
especially the three-hour bus trip (Caliban complained for the first two
hours straight when we came here), but once we're home, the cats are
usually alright. They sleep for the first 24 hours, then they settle
Slightly OT: UK Petition03 Aug 2008 22:44 GMT1
http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Antifreeze-Kills/
The petition was created by John Els and reads:

I'm Sorry03 Aug 2008 22:44 GMT555
Next time I'll post child pornography fantasies instead.  Sheesh.  Maybe I
need a break from most of you.

Purrs for a day old bitty.03 Aug 2008 22:23 GMT13
I went up to TED's today to collect some tablets for Robbie. As I
walked up to the desk, Michael (TED) walked out of the back office
holding a day old bitty bengal kitten in one hand and some kitten
formula in the other.
Another Buffy the Garage Cat update03 Aug 2008 22:21 GMT9
The pictures don't come NEAR to showing how thin he really is, if you
have looked at them :-(
I purposely took them, as much as I could, to HIDE how thin he really
is.
Popping back in03 Aug 2008 22:20 GMT6
Hi there. Got my laptop working, sort of at least.
Updates: no one has fallen into the sea since I last posted. The
swallows have left their nest under the dock, so it's unlikely that
Caliban will take a dive this summer. But I do have a short clip of him
[KFW] Miss Emily's Kittens July 27th 200803 Aug 2008 22:16 GMT13
Camera charged up and at hand all weekend. I took close to 80
pictures, but narrowed them down to the best dozen pictures (mostly, I
winnowed out the blurry ones). I must warn you that there needs to be
a SERIOUS Kitten Fever Warning on these pictures.
