The terrible two to TED's yesterday for their annual vaccination and
check-up. I felt real sorry for the poor lass when, after she'd
struggled with a wriggling Rhia to get her to stay still for the
injection i diffidently asked "I don't suppose you'd like to have a go

In March I took in two mice that someone posted for a new home on Freecycle.
Annie was solid black and Madison is black/white.  Annie was very active and
ran on the wheel like she was trying to run away forever.  Madison has an
old injury to one of her legs and sort of drags it, ...

I am starting to suspect was in fact a parrot!
I've mentioned before that if you touch Sarsi when she's asleep and she
doesn't want to be disturbed- she says "Arkk awf!" which is plainly telling
you to go forth and multiply

Warning: possible ear-worm.
There is something deeply hilarious about a cat streaking through the house
with a bag on its head. We slaves *know* that, seriously, its not funny, the
poor cat is frightened out of its skull, but occasionally we might smirk.

I had to go to Stratford this morning and to my delight my local cat
shelter had their stall there- I said I was due to renew my friends of
the shelter subscription so it would save me having to remember to do
it and posting a cheque so I handed over the money including the 5.00

It's Melissa. I got locked out of my hotmail account today, so if any
one of you get a message that I'm in Nigeria, delete it and block the

...glad they are over!  Grateful nothing bad happened here, just annoying
stuff.  The worst was that one of the servers in the system for me to get
RPCA wasn't functioning properly so I couldn't get my daily "fix."  It
started up again two days ago.

Sheba has been in our lives for 17 years. She came to me as a 3 month
old kitten. As I carried her home, I studied her tortishell coloring
and her name came to me. But she has also been called Pretty Little
Girl, and for the last year, Pretty Little Old Lady.

We're going to be gone for most of the next week or so.  Rob is getting a
porta-cath installed on Monday and then we start the run of the chemo mess.
I may check in from time to time, but I know that my time will be limited at
best for a while.
