| It's been a wet spring | 15 Jul 2008 22:45 GMT | 4 |
Isn't it supposed to be dry here in the mid-atlantic by now? If this year says anything, it's going to be a harsh hurricane season. Or, it will suddenly become near-draught conditions overnight. We've had the most amazing downpours and storms about 2 times per week. This is

| Weird Scary Chester Experience - any ideas? | 15 Jul 2008 22:39 GMT | 16 |
In the middle of the night, Chester woke up us by suddenly running out of our bathroom. It sounded weird - like a pair of running shoes was tied to him - slow and heavy and with a weird thumping sound where you didn't expect to hear it.

| Pics of the Cats! | 15 Jul 2008 22:23 GMT | 7 |
Finally, I've managed to take some relatively decent pictures of the crew. They're at my Flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/yowie9644/ When I get better photos, I'll upload them to a better service, but it'll do

| How curious is he? | 15 Jul 2008 13:54 GMT | 3 |
A little set-up. I bought my nephew some toys from an outfit caled "KazooToys" which packs a little plastic kazoo into every order. So I got the order this evening, and set about preparing Stinky's evening meal, walking around with the kazoo sticking out of my mouth, and ...

| Pat - sadly, I must give up Super Collapse :( | 15 Jul 2008 05:25 GMT | 2 |
Well, I got totally into it, and even though I wasn't playing for hours on end (maybe 2-3 games per day, at 10-15 mins per game), I am well on my way to developing an RSI from all that clicking. Today I'm icing my arm and doing mouse operations with the other hand, because a tendon ...

| purr request for jill | 14 Jul 2008 17:28 GMT | 4 |
I ran across this in another group that both Jill and myself frequent so I posted it here on her behalf since she was not able to with good reason:
> Subject: OT:: FYI Jill's in the hospital > Easier to get the word out to her friends here all at once. |

| Poll: are we a Group or a Clowder? | 14 Jul 2008 02:02 GMT | 16 |
Just want to know. A group of cats living together is a clowder, they may not be physically related, but they are emotionally and physically tied to an area. We're emotionally tied together and I'd say physically tied to our computers to communicate. We, generally, speak the ...

| When iz nuff, e-nuff | 13 Jul 2008 23:50 GMT | 2 |
Hihi folks, this is O T Mahoney and I got a complaint. There first was three of these hummingbirdies, then there was ten of them, and now there is about 25. They don't do nothing but eat and fly around, land in another spot and eat again.

| Ticked off, but should I be? (OT) | 13 Jul 2008 01:18 GMT | 22 |
When I went back home from SC in April, Mom's 2007 taxes hadn't been done yet. Dad's 1099-R from his military pension had gone missing and I wasn't able to get a copy prior to the 4/15 deadline. Now, they've been using this woman to prepare their taxes for years. I've

| Cat-Sitting | 12 Jul 2008 19:58 GMT | 4 |
The neighbor is going on vacation so I get to cat sit her two black kitties, Schwartzie & Fedders! Yay! They are normally indoor-outdoor kitties but when she's gone for more than a day they're confined to the IN. She warned me Fedders might hork up a few

| Now that most of the shock has worn off.... | 12 Jul 2008 11:38 GMT | 79 |
I got FIRED on Thursday!! There was no issues, no warning, no clue. The project manager just said that he needed to speak to me, and that was it. They wanted me Off The Project, and I wasn't even allowed to go back to my office to pick up my purse. He had to go get it for

| Annie Almost Caught a Bird | 12 Jul 2008 05:59 GMT | 1 |
Annie, the D-pet, loves to go out in the back, mainly because there's all sorts of skwerls to chase (she leaps as high as she can at the tree they run up as soon as the door opens - we must have the most fit-n-trim skwerls in the county!). Just now I let her out, and she did the ...
