Anybody remember BlueBird?05 Jul 2008 21:58 GMT16
I got this email from BlueBird this evening.  She isn't able to get on the
computer much.
I'm afraid that Shadow isn't doing very well and it's really scaring me a
LOT.  I went over the statement from the vet as the visit was so busy as we
PURRS NEEDED CALIFORNIA (fires and bad air)  long article05 Jul 2008 21:53 GMT2
I was checking my Yahoo e-mail, saw this story, and HAD to put it
here..share isn't the right word.
PUUUUURS, for the victims of all this devastation, prayers too.

Worrying...05 Jul 2008 21:52 GMT33
Since Saturday, I've been feeling unusually tired. Doesn't matter
how much sleep I get (and on the weekend, I can sleep 12 hours in one
night), I've been exhausted. I've also had a headache every day, and
I've felt like I'm totally out of shape, that even the slightest bit

The True Story of the Battle Between The Mouser and The Growler05 Jul 2008 02:00 GMT4
The Mouser set sail in search of a certain Dread Pirate Fifi after leaving
the fat wench and other non-combatants on shore.  The spirits were high as
was the consumption of catnip.  Oh, the seas were running high too.
They were three days out from FranknNikki Island when Willow ...

Have you heard from Gramby or Lee lately?
I haven't seen a post from Gramby in a few days and I know
Lee's computer is broken.
I'm praying they're okay.
The kitten nursery (major KFW!!)04 Jul 2008 22:35 GMT14
I think I mentioned here that I started volunteering at a local
Humane Society last month, caring for baby kittens before they're
ready for fostering or adoption.
Well, another one of the volunteers took a bunch of photos of the
3 Angels at the Bridge today :(04 Jul 2008 22:20 GMT14
It's been a rough day for several slaves today. Cleo and I went to
Michael TED for her to have her check up after her big dental and
while we were there, 2 sets of different slaves came in with very
elderly owners. Michael could do nothing for either and both cats went
Another Purr Request04 Jul 2008 22:20 GMT19
I've just heard of a problem with a fuzzball, and purrs would be
appreciated.
My friend's mum's cat, a 14-year-old ginger tom, has been savaged
by a pair of working dogs - owned by a near neighbour of theirs.
the summer so far (long, mostly on-topic)04 Jul 2008 22:18 GMT6
I live on the edge of a small town--technically outside the city
limits, but it feels like it's in town, since I can see a main street
from my house.  For years, I've had just rabbits and the occasional
cat coming through the yard, but lately, it's been one weird (or at
Shadow Update 1st July04 Jul 2008 22:13 GMT7
Shadow is no longer skin & bone and her fur is getting softer. I suspect
that she might be prone to being a very 'fluffy' cat as she vacuums up all
food put in front of her, whilst the others two are happy to free-feed their
portions. This works out because Shadow wont go into ...
Baby Blues (not OT)04 Jul 2008 21:57 GMT6
The cats in the Two Lumps comic have been reliving their kittenhood
lately. They being Russian Blues, like my Mir, I'm reminded of her
kittenhood.
The first time I visited the litter, I played with the kittens. One of

Thanks!04 Jul 2008 01:34 GMT7
Thank you, everyone, who posted in response to my "Worrying" about
carbon monoxide. I had the test last night, and it came out negative.
I also bought a CO monitor, and so far, it hasn't picked up anything
in my apartment. So that's one less thing to worry about. Kitties are
