| PING Pat: You've ruined my life :) | 11 Jul 2008 23:48 GMT | 16 |
My highest score so far in "Collapse" is about 129K. Nothing compared to yours, but I'm catching on. You're right, it's more exciting than Bubbels, in the same way that a heart attack is more exciting than a stroll in the park. I can feel a real game addiction coming on!

There is a great anniversary celebrated this week. No, not that one-- the anniversary of the day I took my sweet little buddy off the subway tracks and brought him home. It was seventeen years ago. (NB: Stinky's seventeenth purrday was celebrated nat the beginning of the

| Amber is not too bright | 11 Jul 2008 00:54 GMT | 7 |
With yesterday's heat the main part of my house was about 90°F but the bedroom (in the foundation) was 70°. When I went to bed, Tiger came downstairs but Amber stayed upstairs. Not too bright!!! ---MIKE---

| Partly OT: Going to the island | 10 Jul 2008 23:19 GMT | 15 |
It's that time of year - actually it's past the time when I usually go to the island, but I had to postpone my holidays this summer. Mum has her 80th birthday in August, and I want to be on the island then for the party. It's rare that all four of her kids are there at the same ...

| Update From Christine Burel | 10 Jul 2008 23:05 GMT | 5 |
Wrote Christine asking how she and hers are doing. She gave me permission to give you an update, so, rather than try to quote and get it right, I'm posting the email she sent me. Pam S.

| Tripper RB 7-5-08 | 10 Jul 2008 21:45 GMT | 29 |
My big furry 15 yo boy is gone. I came downstairs to feed the herd, and he was lying on the landing, not breathing. The vet says it looks like his heart just gave out. Given that his brother went that way years ago, all I can do is hope it was

| Imposing a bit | 10 Jul 2008 21:22 GMT | 31 |
I know that everyone is nearly purred out, but could you spare a few for a couple of my boys? I've been begging the husband for years to get rid of the mini blinds in the small second bedroom. He just blew me off.

| Post Office cats - picture | 10 Jul 2008 21:16 GMT | 6 |
I finally managed to get a slightly fuzzy shot of ONE of the post office kitties today. The other one was spooked by the camera phone, and this one wasn't entirely sure that I was still friendly. So I didn't get to pet either of them this time. Oh well.

| Article about cats & dogs in the US | 10 Jul 2008 19:39 GMT | 10 |
I saw a short article in a local paper today about American attitudes about cats. (I think it was limited to the US just because that's where the writer is from. I would not assume that his conclusions can be applied directly to other countries.)

| Petting or catnip: Curly's delima | 10 Jul 2008 13:55 GMT | 3 |
Catnip grows wild in several places on my property - descendents of a feral plant given to me several years ago. One is growing in an abandoned flower pot that I mived into the sun from under the patio awning - it looked beautiful today, so I broke of a piece and put it on the ...

| Nanki-Poo RB 6-27-08 | 10 Jul 2008 07:46 GMT | 98 |
Nanki-Poo is gone. I still can't believe it. He came into my life on November 10, 2004. I took him to the vet this afternoon. His sores were healing, and I was hoping I could soon let him go outdoors. I noticed he was breathing hard when I took him out of the carrier at the vet's ...
