I somehow was unable to download the pictures we took at Wilmington North
Carolina and deleted them in the process.  I'm not happy.

Father of the Year (not OT)30 Jun 2008 00:21 GMT7
I was walking around the neighborhood this morning and saw a majestic tabby
tom, with a huge head and one eye, sitting on a porch.  He was yowling
persistently at the door.  Out of the door came a lady bearing plates of
gooshyfood.  Then, out of nowhere, three kittens came ...
Can you name a cat DUKE?29 Jun 2008 22:52 GMT110
I don't know what my meezers name was before I got him, but the name
that keeps coming to me for him is "Duke". He is a large cat - very
long and very tall and probably weighs in at close to 13 pounds. His
whole stance is BIG and his attitude is surly although in reality, he
Picture hosting help29 Jun 2008 22:38 GMT3
I have a few nice pics of Kenzie I'd like to put on the 'net for RPCA to
see. And a very few pics of my RB kitties; scans of old photos.
I used to have photos hosted on Yahoo; but I lost them all when they
closed their picture hosting service :-(
Outwitted by Cinders29 Jun 2008 22:04 GMT1
Cinders was supposed to go to the vet this morning for her annual rabies
shot and physical examination.  I set the cat carrier out on top of the
chest freezer last night, with the door standing open.  This has
generally worked, in the past, as Cinders usually is skittish when I
From Cuddle to Zoom in a flash29 Jun 2008 21:31 GMT1
In a literal flash of light...
Little Boy decided he wanted to be cuddled. This is one reason his
nickname is Teddy Bear. He is lying in my arms, his head on my chest,
relaxing, purring, and enjoying being petted and sweet-talked.
Got any spare phone cash (OT)29 Jun 2008 09:09 GMT2
I have one of those odd mobile contracts where I pay 15.00 a month up
front and in exchange they allow me to make up 34.00 of calls or
texts. It suits me because when I had a pay as you go phone I spent
pretty much 15,00 a month anyway- most months I go nowhere near the
Cleaning litterboxes, revisited29 Jun 2008 04:24 GMT29
OK, forget the bleach. I can't deal with all the precautions you have
to take, lest you inadvertently create deadly gases in your bathtub.
I'm going to go the environmentally friendly route. So I bought some
vinegar and some baking soda. And then I went hunting through my saved

brought to you by the creators of the LOLcat and LOLdog websites, failblog
is full of pictures and videos of life's little errors.  Some are sick or
not all that funny, but others are so funny that I was crying with laughter.

Cats and courgettes!29 Jun 2008 04:14 GMT30
A couple of weeks back I was sitting on the tube reading an advert for
the new Purina One- Natural Balance and it invited you to text for a
free sample so I did and that arrived last night just about one meal
for two cats so I put it in their bowl and left them to decide what

dear diary...28 Jun 2008 23:54 GMT4
A day in the life, with six cats...
5.00am: vaguely wake up as Marion goes out to work a ridiculously early
morning shift for the second day running this week.
5.45am: woken by a godawful series of crashes and bangs all over the
Close Encounters of the Kitty Kind28 Jun 2008 18:31 GMT4
Well, Persia just had an up-close-and-personal with Schwartzie, the
neighbor's black cat of similar size.
Schwartzie uses the pine needles out back beyond our patio (and property
line) as his "litterbox" when he's out.  Persia spotted him through the
