Ping Pat  Question about the spider bite21 May 2008 08:13 GMT42
How did the brown recluse spider bite turn out.  You disappeared and I just
remember about it.  Did everything turn out ok about it.
Tooth update21 May 2008 07:40 GMT6
It was a piece of cake... the IV sedation worked like a charm. One
minute they were putting the monitor leads on me, and the next it was
all over and I could go home. I slept off the rest of the sedation,
and I feel fine. All I have to do now is to wait for my poor mouth to
Still crazy after all these years...21 May 2008 07:33 GMT2
Pretty much from day one Muddy has been a fighter (though never with my
other cats) and over the course of 14 years has worn his scars like
battle honors. His latest run in resulted in a trip to vet to have a
deep abscess on the back of his head treated, resulting in 3-days in ...
Free at last!21 May 2008 05:26 GMT21
Free at last!  Thank Bast almighty, we're free at last!
Nanki-Poo had his last radiation treatment today.  It almost didn't happen.
They had given me the first appointment of the evening, but he did his
disappearing act, and we ended up barely making it for the last appointment
Purrs for Burma Victims21 May 2008 01:22 GMT16
We're all an empathic bunch of people on this Group - but
no-one's asked for purrs for all of the victims in Burma - so I'm
doing so. Whilst thinking of all the people, spare a few purrs
for the Burmese cats as well.
Hopeful News on Abelard21 May 2008 00:20 GMT36
We're just back from the (other) vet. Stopped in a nice park en route to let
Aby have a pee. (He also peed on the floor in the vet office, and on one of
my t-shirts this morning. So his bladder is right as rain!)
This time he had a slightly elevated temp. of 103 and some liquid ...

I just wanted to say thank you again.
Ben and I have been really down since Hunter died.  I handle it by crying
for a while, then not thinking about it, then crying again.  Ben, however,
just stays very depressed and morose 24/7 (also, he was much closer to

From the time I knew Tony would be going in for his dental, I swore
that if he died, I was going to get a kitten to help me with my grief
- who can resist the antics of kittens. Well, now instead of actually
getting a kitten, I am going to be fostering 2 of them. I get them

For all who need them, for whatever reason.

Ouch!20 May 2008 21:50 GMT26
After Sammy's adventure last night, I took today off work and worked on
repairing the kitty fence. I got the north side of the yard finished,
and was working on the south side. I allowed my attention to wander for
a few moments while I was cutting mesh fence away from mounting ...
Cats Should Be The next President20 May 2008 21:46 GMT12
IIRC, when Clinton was president, Socks was the White House Cat.
Cats don't cause war, they only eat mice;)
Were there any other Cats in the White House?
I couldn't find a link, because my internet crashed on me again.
Missing cat...20 May 2008 21:44 GMT16
or Bastard Cat Trick? Keeping my fingers crossed that it's the latter.
Once again, Samuel Redcat is missing. Just like the last couple times -
as the sun was going down I brought everybody in from the back yard, and
did a cat count. Everybody present and accounted for, except ...
Oh criminy, please Tony purrs20 May 2008 21:44 GMT42
This is Bridget here in case you don't recognize the email. I have
lost my connection to groups and am using google groups. Please use
the email at the bottom to reply to me personally.
I took Tony in for a dental this morning
Abandoned Cat (has a good ending!)20 May 2008 21:33 GMT10
John is cleaning out and doing minor renovations on one of his apartment
rental units.  Long story short, the people he evicted left their black cat!
He spotted it when he went over about a week after they left, hanging out on
the upstairs deck.  It let him pet it (he's not sure if ...
