With Peter home all day, he got layed off last week and all the hours I'm
working I have been to busy to reply to all the posts requesting purrs. Even
if I don't post I'm sending purrs and prayers to all who need them.

well, the felines & the hens are getting along famously. That is, the hens
ignore the cats walking by the hen run and the cats (Francis especially) can
be *fascinated* by the feathered residents. But he's seemingly not
fascinated in an "I'm going to eat you" way, but in a "Go on, ...

I adopted two kittens some years ago. The female, Suzie, has always been
very nervous and wary but the male, Chin-Chin, is very outgoing and
sociable. Suzie will not eat a bite of food until Chin-Chin comes to join
her no matter how hungry she is!

Got a knock on the door this afternoon from my ex-next door neighbour's son.
Thelma was widowed suddenly and moved a mile or so away with her cat into a
bungalow.
This is the house that has been redeveloped and I've been having so much

And I've still got all my fingers :-) Shadow rolled on his back and showed
me his tummy and without thinking I just tickled him, thankfully he seemed
to like it. He's well and truly a proper owner now.

She's come out of the surgery fine.
It was a little more complicated that expected because she had already been
desexed. Ooops. Wish I didn't have to pay for it again, but better safe than
sorry I guess.

Major "I have got to have one" warning - I wonder how they'd get on

I've called the vet twice since 1 PM and she hasn't called back. Abelard ate
grass and vomited with bright yellow bile. Would not eat this morning or
since, except more grass, which has not yet been vomited up. Not sure if I
should be worried or pleased with this development, but ...

I'm so sorry I have been wrapped up in my little ball again.  All this
has been a nightmare, and I haven't even had the surgery yet.
Wednesday is the day, so if I could ask for all the purrs and prayers
and white light you can spare, I would really appreciate it.

I still don't have pictures - sorry, too many errands to run. I am
letting the kittens out in the living areas for short periods of time
