| OT Job update | 25 May 2008 22:06 GMT | 4 |
I took you all's advice and went to the cops. so did the jerkwad's wife. together there was enough to land the guy a night in the cooler. he was released on his own recognizance, having had no priors, and a temporary restraining order placed so he can't so much as wave hello to his ...

TED said that even though she was responding to IV fluids, and even ate some, they were 85-95% sure that it was cancer, and at her age (and weakness due to problems eating) she may not survive a biopsy surgery, let alone any kind of treatment. We didn't think it was fair

| "Shadow" update | 25 May 2008 21:24 GMT | 11 |
To Cary & Joel, she's Shadow, to me she is Cassandra. Either way, NewCat doesn't answer to her name. The poor girl was a mess with fleas, burrs and matts. The fleas were easy to treat, but the matts and burrs have gotten Joel and I some pretty deep

Last weekend, I desperately felt like a lie in. Unfortunatley by 6:45am, there was a sqeak, a thud, and a little voice saying in a concerned sort of way "Mummy, wake up."

| Molly and the baby | 25 May 2008 21:11 GMT | 7 |
I had the honor of babysitting for my five month old granddaughter earlier this evening while her parents went out to have a meal in peace and quiet. Which I love to do, even when she isn't an angel. Well, tonight she wasn't an angel. She was tired, but not tired enough to

| Be Afraid, Be Greatly afraid | 25 May 2008 20:54 GMT | 6 |
I have heard this said but never took it to heart until today. My cat Willow likes to sleep with her butt on the cat tree and her front paws wrapped around the curtain rod. Result is she often falls off the tree and bends the rod.

| Cat hat | 25 May 2008 16:32 GMT | 4 |
Its getting towards winter here and there's a noticable chill in the air. If Iwas out at night, I'd want to wear some sort of wooly hat. Suki has felt my need, and for the last two nights, has kindly wrapped her wooly self around my head to keep my ears warm.

| Abelard Update | 25 May 2008 13:48 GMT | 76 |
It's still touch-and-go with the Aby cat. He's getting around much better, but he seems to have a "head cold" and it's become all but impossible to get anything into his stomach. I've never seen anything like the behavior he's exhibiting. There's no way to get a pill

| RaVenOuS Abelard! | 24 May 2008 19:12 GMT | 15 |
I woke him up at 2:00 AM to offer a snack, hoping he would say "yes". Well, I hit the jackpot, he devoured half of a 5.5-oz. tin of Friskies without stopping!!!

| Complicated Cat | 24 May 2008 05:54 GMT | 9 |
On a finickiness scale of 1-10, Abelard is a 12. Same goes for spoiled. I tried many times today to get him to eat, before finding the key. The other cats are loving the fact that I've had to open half a dozen cans of gooshy food to find one that Aby likes. The others are growing ...
