We just couldn't do the necropsy, the vet said it would cost between $180 -
$200 and with our finances the way they've been it would just be impossible

We think we've figured out what may have happened after I talked to my

Update KFC (GW)16 May 2008 05:50 GMT61
She's been doing well, appetite wise, since she was home from hospital, but
her streaming green nose stuff has never cleared up properly, although not
quite so frequent.
However, I don't think she likes having it any more than I liked it last
A couple of nice cat stories15 May 2008 23:32 GMT11
Talkign to some friends last night and two nice cat stories came up
The first concerns a former flatmate called Barry. Now Barry  liked his
football but also liked getting into fights with the rival supporters i.e. a
bit of a hooligan. He looked the part as well, shaved head, scars ...

Did you get the card Mosey and I sent you about Rambo?
We wrote it with much love, and we are so sorry for your loss.

Rotary smurgling15 May 2008 19:08 GMT10
I don't recall whether I've described Ranger's unique method of smurgling
before. But he has been rather prolific of late, so I thought it warranted
another description anyway.
We have several smurglers in our house. They do the usual - wait until a
Drinkwell Fountain Shelf-life?15 May 2008 17:16 GMT4
How old is too old?  For the drinkwell fountain, I mean :)
Before I left for SC in January I'd drained and cleaned Persia's Drinkwell
fountain, including removing the motor.  But I'd already noticed it had
gotten harder and harder to remove the motor to do a thorough cleaning.  It
So cute!15 May 2008 13:56 GMT1
Tessie has always had a very strong smurgling habit... she rarely
smurgles an actual person any more, but she's always jumping into the
laundry basket, or standing on the bathmat or pillow and smurgling
away contentedly if she doesn't think anyone is watching... I was
Socializing purrs requested15 May 2008 06:10 GMT22
After my mom's dog Cali went to the Rainbow Bridge, everybody was having a
bit of trouble adjusting. My brother Pat's dog Maggie, though, is having
bigger problems adjusting than either of the two humans. She seems to be
really missing Cali.

Mint Tea14 May 2008 21:49 GMT3
Mint is similar to catnip, is it not?
I've been sick with a sinus-something for the last week.  This morning after
Persia's early morning play-session I made myself a cup of spearmint tea
with honey to soothe my throat.  Persia came up, nose twitching like a
Music stand as a pillow14 May 2008 19:39 GMT8
Our silly persian puffball considers anything to be a possible pillow.
Today we caught her resting her head on a piano's music stand:

A kitten in every window14 May 2008 16:41 GMT3
I;ve told you about my neighbor across the street, who adopted a preggers
kitty some months ago, and now has four gigantic kittens, along with the
Mom.  They put on a hilarious show in the front window every day,
appreciated by me and by my boys, of course.
