Bad news - Four20 Apr 2008 08:31 GMT87
I have just spoken to Charleen and together we have made the decision
to let Four go to Rainbow Bridge. She's going to ask the vet to make
Four comfortable tonight to give her DH, David, time to get home so
that she has some support when they both go to say goodbye and she'll
Cat food sample report20 Apr 2008 06:00 GMT23
We have a PetSmart rewards card or whatever they call it.  Today we got our
first ever sample from them, a sample bag of Purina Healthful Life Cat food.
Of course we had to see if the owners like it.  The think it is cat candy.
It is a dry cat food, so some of you will want to ...

Four needs help RPCA! Let's get it going! I'll do what I can!.
Sometimes I really hate people - Purrs please.19 Apr 2008 22:42 GMT29
I have started fostering cats and kittens for the RSPCA. I REALLY
don't agree with a lot of what the RSPCA does, but I do know the
Animal Welfare Officer very well and I figure that if I can provide a
foster space in a city without an RSPCA shelter then it means that one
[KFW] A kitten visitor19 Apr 2008 22:27 GMT14
Oh heavens, it is most certainly kitten season.
This morning, Senyah told me there was someone meowing at the door. I
looked out the window and didn't see any cats. So I opened the door.
As I stepped outside, I saw a little bitty tail go around the corner.
I'm back!!!19 Apr 2008 22:24 GMT18
If it seems like a long time since you've seen me post, well you're
right. Besides being extremely busy around here - the old computer
died. Seems there was a couple metal clips holding the CPU onto the
motherboard, one came loose, and stay pieces of metal laying on a
Another step forward for Shadow19 Apr 2008 22:17 GMT10
He spent most of this evening sitting on the couch, he looked very worried
and went out when I put the television on but came back 20 minutes later. It
could be he's a critic, he didn't like 'Desperate Housewives' but didn't
seem at all worried by a programme I watched later ...
Wilkommen, Bienvenue, Welcome (long)19 Apr 2008 22:12 GMT8
Two of Marilyn's kitties, who were willed to me and Louie and in a legal and
veterinary limbo which lasted several months, are now home with us.
it did well for the cat-wrWelcome to my little orphans, China-Doll and Randy,
who i think is going to want to be called Fella.
Miss Emily - we've lost a kitten19 Apr 2008 22:10 GMT23
Friday morning, on the way out, Miss Emily greeted me at the door. She
was telling me that one of her kittens is missing.
I don't know i someone came and took it, or if another animal took it
(most likely, I think). But the grey one is no longer with us.
Vid: Caliban's version of 'poking'19 Apr 2008 22:06 GMT15
I think Caliban's poking is more active than Smokey's. Obviously he is
too busy to even acknowledge my hand. If you turn up the sound, you will
hear Miranda yowling in the background.

Status report on Licky19 Apr 2008 22:01 GMT7
Not a whole lot of news. No blood was found in his urine, which tells
me that Catnipped might have been right after all. I talked to the vet
today, and she said the droplets on my bathroom floor could very well
be flea dirt. She also said that she didn't talk to me yesterday, so
YOUR PURRS (and fluids)- EFFECTIVE!19 Apr 2008 21:55 GMT25
Those purrs are AMAZING, peeps and kitties.  We thank you from the bottoms
of our hearts!
Stinky's levels are down, as we hoped.  He is gaining weight, and his fur
and eyes are getting shinier and brighter.   He is not 100% his old self-- I
Cat or mouse?19 Apr 2008 13:53 GMT9
Suki has a habit of settling on my lap whilst I am at the computer. However,
her favourite position is to rest her dainty head on my right hand, which
means I can't move the mouse without disturbing her. And if I disturb her,
she bites just nicely enough to discourage me from ...

I call him Yoho19 Apr 2008 05:16 GMT3
I've started calling the visitor kitten "Yoho, the pirate kitten" since he
likes to ride my shoulder, like a parrot. No luck so far getting to ask for
a cracker (grin).
He is such an angel. Dulce Mae and Little Boy hate him, though.
