I put Shadow out last night and shut the door, 20 minutes later he came in
through the cat flap. Normally I lock the flap at night to keep Baggy in but
I left last night so Shadow could get out. When I got up this morning Shadow
was still here, I think I'm now owned by a clowder ...

A few weeks ago I mentioned we had an unusual number of unfamiliar cats in
the neighborhood.  Pretty much a sign of spring here.
One of them is a very pretty flame point mostly Siamese tom who has been
hanging around and trying to make friends with Charlie.  My resident

I sat down to eat a sandwich earlier and Shadow wanted to know what I had,
he jumped on to my lap and stayed there even after I finished my sandwich.
He jumped off five minutes later when I reached for my cup of tea then
meatloafed on my footstall.

Practically from the first moment I picked him up, Dante has been purring
almost continuously.  Almost every time I've laid a hand on him for the
two-and-a-half years he's lived here, the little booger has been purring.

She will not allow me to feed her via a syringe and no smelly food can get

I went to a writing and literary convention in Niagara Falls over this past
weekend. It was geared to Science fiction and mysteries, but every year there
is this writing intensive with two well-established authors--usually Nancy
Kress with another eminent pro--and it covers basic ...
