| He stayed the night | 25 Apr 2008 00:24 GMT | 18 |
I put Shadow out last night and shut the door, 20 minutes later he came in through the cat flap. Normally I lock the flap at night to keep Baggy in but I left last night so Shadow could get out. When I got up this morning Shadow was still here, I think I'm now owned by a clowder ...

| Cat Lands on His Feet | 24 Apr 2008 22:10 GMT | 4 |
A few weeks ago I mentioned we had an unusual number of unfamiliar cats in the neighborhood. Pretty much a sign of spring here. One of them is a very pretty flame point mostly Siamese tom who has been hanging around and trying to make friends with Charlie. My resident

| He sat on my lap | 24 Apr 2008 22:03 GMT | 18 |
I sat down to eat a sandwich earlier and Shadow wanted to know what I had, he jumped on to my lap and stayed there even after I finished my sandwich. He jumped off five minutes later when I reached for my cup of tea then meatloafed on my footstall.

| The PurrMeister | 24 Apr 2008 21:40 GMT | 7 |
Practically from the first moment I picked him up, Dante has been purring almost continuously. Almost every time I've laid a hand on him for the two-and-a-half years he's lived here, the little booger has been purring. He purrs no matter where he is or what he's doing. Even ...

| KFC update 2 | 24 Apr 2008 20:53 GMT | 33 |
She will not allow me to feed her via a syringe and no smelly food can get through the gunk in her nose so this afternoon I decided to admit her to hospital. She is simply too frail to not eat since Saturday and I'm not prepared to

| cats set off our house alarm | 24 Apr 2008 10:36 GMT | 12 |
We have an alarm system with glass break sensors. Peter and I had just gone upstairs to bed and the alarm went off. We think Sam was chaseing Cinnamon and she jumped on the back of a chair in the living room and then onto the half wall. I have picutes on it and when we came ...

| (OT) It was good weekend. I was exposed to much... | 24 Apr 2008 00:56 GMT | 5 |
I went to a writing and literary convention in Niagara Falls over this past weekend. It was geared to Science fiction and mysteries, but every year there is this writing intensive with two well-established authors--usually Nancy Kress with another eminent pro--and it covers basic ...

| Games OT mostly | 23 Apr 2008 22:39 GMT | 7 |
Have you ever noticed that at times one's life has a form of motif? Our first vacation to the Outer Banks was dominated by cats to the point that we "needed" a cat a day. Right now our lives seem to be dominated by, of all things, games. All of us love to play games on the ...

| Annie went a-visiting to a nursing home m(OT D*oggie stuff) | 23 Apr 2008 22:36 GMT | 3 |
This was not an “official” visit, and it was one in Bedford (DMIL is staying there) that is apparently very lax about visitors…. She did very well, was not shy about wheel chairs or walkers, was not jumpy at all, but did put her paws on one gentleman in a wheelchair (he

| Smokey not doing well... | 23 Apr 2008 22:33 GMT | 14 |
Ol' Toofless is not very well. She's not eating much, except gushy food. and her fur is looking unkempt, she's also drooling a lot. Time for the old girl to go to the TED.... hopefully it's not soimething too bad (maybe just a(nother) bad tooth?)...

| Dulce Mae's toy | 23 Apr 2008 22:33 GMT | 3 |
Senyah uses a walker to get around. It's a reasonably nice one with a seat and hand brakes. Also, Senyah really doesn't understand cats. I hear Senyah in the hallway, getting onto Dulce Mae. Senyah has moved her
