UPDATE               Re: Smokey not doing well...26 Apr 2008 22:36 GMT10
She has a couple bad teeth (one they will try to get out next week).
Ulcers on her tongue - near the back, right side (right next to the
really bad tooth).
She has oral AntiBs for the ulcers, and I take her in next Tuesday to

First of all, Mike was accepted by the Disney College Program.  He'll be
cleaning bathrooms or other places while attending the internet university
down there for the fall semester this year.  He reports to Orlando in
August.  He'll be back to North Carolina in the beginning of ...
May I ask for purrs for a friend's kitten?26 Apr 2008 21:53 GMT11
My best friend Jennifer (we go back to third grade) adopted two cats,
but you know how the best plans etc.  So there is a new little one,
Kizzy (don't know if I spelled it right), who has joined the family.
Tomorrow is her Spay Day, so Jen asked me if it would be okay to ask you
Black-faced tuxes- Check in!26 Apr 2008 21:47 GMT31
You know who you are.  Your patron saints are Ms. Nikki and Betty.  You wear
tuxedos, but you have faces like Marvin the Martian.  To see you is to
laugh, yet be awed. You are mysterious, yet ridiculous.  Licky, Dot, and all
you others, stand up and be counted!
Amelia was playing with my head26 Apr 2008 21:19 GMT6
We have all become such creatures of routine that when anybody deviates
from what's expected, we all notice.
Amelia is *always* right underfoot when I'm dishing up gooshy food in the
morning. On the rare occasion when she isn't I'll find she got locked in a
Miss Pua relaxing26 Apr 2008 21:08 GMT26
My miss Pua follows me around like a ragged child, I'm telling you.  Now
that my husband and I have separate computers and mine is on the kitchen
table, she's taken up the other chair and sits with me while I work.
I caught her perfectly today.  Had to share the pix.
Well Brought Up26 Apr 2008 17:24 GMT5
Well wasn't this a lovely morning....
DP got up for work at 5:30 a.m. and while he was in the shower, his
pager went off, there was an emergency in the hospital.
He is supposed to be in the hospital within 20 minutes of a page.

He lets me hold him so I set the camera to take our picture.  He _knew_ I
was up to something with that damn flashy thing.

Silly plays nurse cat26 Apr 2008 15:48 GMT1
I went to the dentist yesterday, and spent most of the afternoon lying
down watching tv... Silver was a little puzzled because I rarely lie
down in the daytime, but she was very sweet - she circled me a few
times, stuck her nose in my face and mreeped at me, then she settled
Shadow surprised me twice26 Apr 2008 10:35 GMT6
Earlier today a friend called round to return some DVDs that she'd borrowed,
I expected Shadow to hide or run out. He did neither, he even let her pet
him. :-)
This evening I was eating a piece of cake while watching television and he
desk real estate26 Apr 2008 10:03 GMT4
my computer desk has the shelf underneath for the keyboard, so the majority
of the top of the desk is empty, it would hold 2 or 3 regular cats
comfortably... and usually only TV my overly fluffy boy lays in front of me
while I am at the computer... today  Tiger is not feeling well, ...
new cat + toys26 Apr 2008 08:23 GMT2
It's nice to have a new cat in the house.  She really has perked Bobby
up and her love and attention to me has been wonderful.  But, does she
have to take out 10 toys + per day and put them all over the house?
She was a stray, can't eat cat food (disagrees with her sensitive
