Ceiling Cat?04 Apr 2008 18:00 GMT7
These past few days, every time I lift up Caliban he stares up into the
ceiling. Just now he was sitting on my arm (ooph), when he suddenly
started staring up into the corner. He left my arm (aah, relief) and
jumped to a small bookshelf I have standing in the corner. Stood on his ...
Extreme Poking04 Apr 2008 17:43 GMT7
Smokey has now invented "Extreme Poking."
Every once in a while he'll be lying on his back, swat at something,
and leave his "arm" hanging there in mid-air because he's too lazy to
move muscles to bring it back down.
Snow catting04 Apr 2008 17:13 GMT7
I got some video footage of tonight's snow catting. I haven't downloaded
it yet. I was able, though, to download some footage of last month's
snowcatting.
The kitties aren't doing anything exciting, just exploring the snow, but
Garvin04 Apr 2008 13:55 GMT10
OK, I've gone as far as calling my vet to see how much it would cost to have
Garvin checked, vaccinated and neutered.  Now I have to find some way to
come up with $130 then find another canned food with the same ingredients as
Fancy Feast but costs less so I can squeeze him into ...
Met a neighbor through Smudge tonight04 Apr 2008 13:19 GMT6
I got home tonight around 10:30, and as usual, Smudge was waiting for
me in front of the apartment building. But just as I was about to go
upstairs, she went running off, and no amount of calling her would
get her attention.
Dante on the hardwood04 Apr 2008 12:45 GMT7
Any basketball fans around here?  Well, Dante's been doing his best to
re-enact the NCAA tournament on the living-and dining room floors.  But his
physique and style of play doesn't really remind me of any of the young
players on the courts these days.  No, Dante rolling down the ...
Big Fluffy Visitor04 Apr 2008 12:42 GMT5
Looks like the neighbor's cats have a pal who comes to visit from time to
time (she'd mentioned it once).  He (?) is a very big fluffy cat, about the
size of Catnipped's Sammy!  His very long fur is very pretty.  It's tipped
all over with very dark brown, almost black.  The fur ...
Health and Behavior Group03 Apr 2008 22:02 GMT5
Is anyone else having trouble going to the Health and Behavior group?
I keep getting an error message saying there might be a broken link.

Ceiling Cat!!!03 Apr 2008 17:08 GMT2
The BBC have a video on their web site, Newsbeat's "Odd Box" -
some of the weirder happenings of the week that have made their
way on to TV. One of the items in this week's video was a story
about a man trying to find a cat in his ceiling - and taking down
I love this group!!!03 Apr 2008 04:17 GMT29
I swear, I truly do love this group.  This is the only place I know
where....
First a troll posts some (meant to be) inflammatory crap.
Then some of us respond to it.
Purrs please02 Apr 2008 22:23 GMT23
My Uncle, nearest thing I ever had to a father had cancer.  Was in remission
and now think it has come back.  Could we have some Purrs please.  Don't
have many relatives left and he is part of my heart.
Great Builders!02 Apr 2008 22:22 GMT27
The house next door to me (I live in a terrace) is having some
renovation done and a conservatory built.
Pandora, has been supervising the work from under the Rosemary bush in
my neighbours garden where she likes to hang out for hours and hours
Purrs for Stinky, Please02 Apr 2008 22:21 GMT32
I'm taking Stinky for his checkup tomorrow.  My sweet boy is 17 years old
now, and finally showing his age.   He isn't eating as much as I would like.
I am praying with all my might that there is nothing serious wrong.
Please, please, could you please send purrs for my Stinky boy? ...
The still vigilent roadcat02 Apr 2008 22:19 GMT6
Harri tends to be a very protective guardian. Whenever I go downstairs to
do a load of laundry I can count on hearing the "thump-thump-thump" as
Harri does her little-kitten-on-the-big-stairs descent right behind me.
Last night, though, she missed the opportunity.
