| birds chirping? | 05 Apr 2008 12:27 GMT | 2 |
There has been birds singing/chirps for the last 15 mins. or so and I have been looking out the door and window and it turns out to be a cat toy that chirps. Bonnie -- who is not used to toys at all -- has been playing with this all the time. She is still batting it around. I love

I go to pick up my photo order today since Granby has been asking for them. Well guess what they destroyed 3 rolls of film. Than when I questioned them how 3 rolls were destroyed they blamed me for it. I said how in the hell could I ruin the film when it was one of you that put ...

| Please don't post real names and addresses without consent | 05 Apr 2008 01:58 GMT | 49 |
I'm posting this now because I know there will be a lot of communication about a possible meet-up of Catslaves and RPCA members. That could also involve exchanging addresses. I have obviously used my real name and address for the annual holiday card exchange. However, I have ...

| Medical Alert Systems? (OT) | 05 Apr 2008 00:21 GMT | 14 |
We've all seen the commercials (and heard the jokes). "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!" But it's a real concern for seniors living alone. (Good lord, I sound like a commercial.) Does anyone have any experience with these types of systems/services? Any recommendations? ...

| What concerns me is... | 04 Apr 2008 23:44 GMT | 61 |
I know some of us have little money in here and have to stick to a tight budget. But I just wondered, how can you "afford" a cat?? I mean, at any given illness/problem, the vet bill can be thousands of dollars! (Thinking of Felix and his ongoing problems w/his ears and ...

| Stinky Report Part 2 | 04 Apr 2008 22:24 GMT | 18 |
I took Stinky to the vet to get his second subQ, and to learn how to put the line in myself. Well, I did it, and it was pretty easy -- at least with the Stink-man in his usual vet-visit passive mode, and with the vet and tech standing by. The big test for me come tomorrow when ...

| Cat Annoyance - Hoolie cat | 04 Apr 2008 19:53 GMT | 1 |
Any of you have one of these? Tyrone curled up with me, in the crook of my arm last night and purred. Just as I was falling asleep, he reached out and dug his front claws into my chin. It was rather startling. I pulled his paw away and held onto his

| We get to do SnowCatting again tonight | 04 Apr 2008 19:16 GMT | 15 |
It's now spring. The calendar says so. The weatherman says so. The cats say so. So how come I'm looking out my 3rd floor window at snow? Really heavy snow. Big, fat, wet flakes of snow. Snow that is NOT melting when it hits
