| Proper Supervision. | 06 Apr 2008 21:21 GMT | 2 |
I had Mike plant a hydrangea and some dahlias today before the rains came back. I also asked him to go around the yard and see what had to be chopped out from drought death and do the evil deed. Strange news, a bunch of plants we thought were dead were alive and growing, ...

I was given a lucky bamboo plant a year ago when I passed my RVT boards. Well with the sudden run of bad luck, I suddenly noticed today the possible cause.

This was posted to another group I belong to. While filming lambs under a heatlamp, the camera crew found a feline interloper". http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/player/?item=44534625&size=v200

| Cats in art | 06 Apr 2008 14:20 GMT | 1 |
I just found another intriguing site: http://www.literary-cat.cwc.net/Susan_Herbert.htm classic art redone with cats in place of humans. I particularly like the Shakespeare Cats paintings.

| Leapin... kitties | 06 Apr 2008 06:15 GMT | 3 |
Now this is weird. I'm lying on the bed, reading newsgroups on my Treo. Little Feet is at my side. Suddenly, he jumps over my chest to the other side. He sits for a minute,

| Trying on clothes (not OT) | 06 Apr 2008 03:49 GMT | 6 |
Today I went shopping to try, fecklessly yet again, to find pants long enough that fit (Canadian stores don't usually stock tall sizes in anything remotely fashionable). While I was trying on, I put on the odd blouse to see how it looked.

| Another Huge Hurdle Passed! | 06 Apr 2008 03:35 GMT | 8 |
Hunter used the litter box!!!! Poor boy must have been holding it in all day - I kept checking and was really worried, having just come in from the great outdoors, that he wouldn't know what it was for, but he figured it out OK! Never has one cat been so praised and rewarded ...

| dracaena plant | 06 Apr 2008 00:09 GMT | 3 |
I went to Home Depot this week and bought about 5 house plants that were pretty. I did a search on the Net and found that the Dracaena is a family of plants. The only one I saw as poisonous to cats was the palm.

| Dante, unclear on the concept | 05 Apr 2008 16:55 GMT | 6 |
Dante has been watching the whole SubQ procedure with Stinky with great interest. So now when I pull out the chair in which I put Stinky for his treatment, Dante leaps into it and looks at me expectantly, the little doof! After all, what does he know? He knows that Stinky is the ...

| Patty paw at the window | 05 Apr 2008 14:50 GMT | 1 |
It's been warm here. And the apartments haven't been converted from heat to a/c yet. So I open the living room windows just a little, to get a breeze. The cats sit, nose to opening.
