Hunter Update15 Apr 2008 22:21 GMT7
He's really settling in now - he loves being able to roam about a bit more
rather than being cooped up in that one small bedroom (we only confine him
there at night).  He is playing much more both interactively with me and by
himself with stuffed mice (although when I catch him ...
I TOLD you I don't like it, Pop15 Apr 2008 19:34 GMT4
I keep a can of compressed air on my computer table used for blowing
Missy's fur out of the keyboard, mouse, etc.  She's never been fond of
it but didn't seem to seem too afraid of it.
I just looked over and saw that the tube on the end has been chewed
Dealing with Terrorists (Nocturne Wins)15 Apr 2008 19:32 GMT19
We have had no choice but to concede to the Phantom Piddler.
Last month, Nocturne's peeing by the front door got well and truly out
of hand.  Every day she peed the spot.  Feliway did nothing.  Herbal
spray did nothing.  Tinfoil did nothing.  Nothing could stop her.
Heated cat bed recommendations?15 Apr 2008 15:53 GMT12
We think that Cleo would benefit from having a heated bed to help keep her
aging bones warm. Looking at drsfosterandsmith.com I see that they have
quite a selection of heated beds.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to heated cat beds to stay away
Demon Kitty15 Apr 2008 01:48 GMT4
One of the new kittens at my son's house is a demon.  I mean it really is.
If it bumps up against another kitten it will try and rip that kitten to
pieces.  If one runs over it when trying to find a feeding station, woe be
to that kitty.
Blankets again14 Apr 2008 22:44 GMT4
I got behind again and can't get caught up, so I'm sending warm blankets
of purrs and best wishes.  I see we have some new kitties, and some
lolcats (not all of which would come up for me), so I'm getting some
smiles from the group today :-)
Oh my - FOUR helpers14 Apr 2008 22:35 GMT5
Bucky and Little Boy are in. I'm in the bedroom, and so are all four
cats. I'm about to make the bed. Here's how that goes:
I shake out the fitted sheet. Dulce Mae runs underneath it. Little Boy
chases her. Dulce Mae goes behind the easy chair next to the bed, and

ARRGGHHH!!! (Only partly OT)14 Apr 2008 17:21 GMT3
I just finished figuring my Income Tax.  Okay, so I'm a procrastinator.  I
had to fight the computer program, and then my printer, but I finally got it
done.
Then I took a potty break.  Lindy decided to do a two-holer.  The litter box

The Personal Protection Roadcat13 Apr 2008 22:36 GMT4
I'm on call at work this week. That means that when server maintenance
gets schedule, I'm the one that gets to do it. And server maintenance is
always done starting at midnight. I got two maintenance tasks this week.
When I know I'm going to have to get up at midnight to do work, I ...
[KF] Miss Emily Part Two13 Apr 2008 22:28 GMT10
This morning Miss Emily tried even harder to get into the car than she
did yesterday. She tried the passenger side. She tried the driver
side. All this made me very nervous. When I started the car, she was
lying n the parking lot right next to my door.
How fireworks saved my cat ...13 Apr 2008 22:20 GMT12
Last night during the stiff breezes here in South Florida, I heard the
front door go 'KA-THUMP'. (apparently I hadn't shut it TIGHT the last
time I went out).
I immediately thought "Oh crap ... Cosmo."
He Played!!!13 Apr 2008 22:18 GMT19
Granted, Hunter plays "hard" (like he's really trying to kill prey rather
than just toying with it).  But I'm just glad that he now feels secure
enough and well fed enough that he can (at least for short periods of time)
concentrate on something other than getting food into his ...
