Fil's books + ping Ann15 Mar 2008 19:26 GMT1
I received the book. Thank you.
This reminds I still have another of Fil's books. It's called The Cat
from Kosovo - The true story of how a refugee cat found a haven and a
home in Nova Scotia. The name pretty much tells you what it's about. :)

my new little girl can do ear tricks15 Mar 2008 00:04 GMT4
She can fold her ears forward at the same time like a wave!  She is
settling in fine.  Held under the bed for 3 days until I pulled her
out for a brushing.  She is younger than Bobby (she's around 5 and he
is 13) and she is trying to get him to play.  She loves catnip toys.

Very OT: ethical dilemma14 Mar 2008 09:44 GMT53
I got a box of stuff I ordered online yesterday. I noticed there were
two bottles of a product (at $18 each) whereas I had only ordered one. I
verified the packing slip and it did say there was supposed to be only
one. Well, my first instinct was to pick up the phone and call ...

Nanki-Poo update14 Mar 2008 00:03 GMT5
The vet's office called this morning to say that all his blood levels are
normal.  This is good in that it means I won't have to give him thyroid
medication too.  It may not be so good since it doesn't explain the lymph
node.  Results from the aspiration will probably take ...

Frank and Lyle -what's been going on13 Mar 2008 21:28 GMT14
Ok, here is my not very timely Frank and Lyle report.  Since so much has
been going on I will just give some quick highlights.
The brothers are getting a lot more trusting of me.  I can pet either one
or both.  Most times, if I pet one, the other will hurry over to get
SHOOSH!13 Mar 2008 08:52 GMT12
I may have mentioned that Bucky is a *noisy* cat. When he comes in, he
complains more than a Siamese. When he wants out, he meows constantly
until we let him out. When he's hungry... well, you get the picture.
Tonight, Bucky and Little Boy came in together. After they came n,

I hurt my knee a few weeks ago. I'm not really certain how, but it's
gotten worse and I've finally gone to the doctor. X-rays didn't show
anything wrong with the bones, but there may be some tears in the
meniscus. So I'm going for an MRI today and a follow-up with the doctor

Hi sam
You wrote me about helping me with something and my comcats mail server is
acting up and IDK if you got my reply or not.  I don't think I'm going to be
able to do that, too many toonas involved.
PING: Kreisleriana, re subway cat13 Mar 2008 02:11 GMT4
I know that your Stinky was rescued from the New York subway tracks.
Here's an Associated Press story from last weekend about another
fortunate kitty who had the same happy fate!

Nanki-Poo update - no news13 Mar 2008 02:00 GMT18
Nanki-Poo missed his appointment today because I couldn't find him.  He
likes to explore in the morning.  He usually spends afternoons in the house
though, either on my bed or in the living room.  I rescheduled for 2:00
tomorrow.  Wish me luck.  ;-)
