| Wrong shoulder, Pop | 20 Mar 2008 00:37 GMT | 4 |
When I come downstairs to my computer, I am soon joined by Mistletoe. Usually I pick her up, put her on my left shoulder supported by my left arm and proceed with email, RPCA, and whatever. Tonight she came down and announced her presence. Being the dutiful

What gods or patron saints are your cats? Dot is the goddess of curiosity and adventure. She helps adventurers discover plenty of nooks and crannies, and scientists discover new insights. Pray to her before you take a nap, and you will explore new

| Purrs for a dog, please | 19 Mar 2008 23:03 GMT | 37 |
My mom's dog, Cali, is getting on in years. She had a mild stroke a few months ago, and she has a leg injury that slows her down a little bit. I just heard from my brother that Cali just had another small stroke. The good news is that she was able to walk out to the truck by herself ...

This morning minutes after I awoke, and before I went to the bathroom, Stinky pranced over my lower tummy, in that imperious way cats have of marching over your sensitive places. Because my head is stuffed full of such cheesy detritus, it came out before I even really knew what ...

| Purrs for Jess, please... | 19 Mar 2008 22:17 GMT | 20 |
Last week, I wrote of a 16-year-old cat, Jess, who has enslaved one of my brother's friends. Said cat has, unfortunately, problems "eliminating" at the moment. Her slave may have to make the kindest decision, but the worst one, on Monday. Your purrs

Jill, I was very sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. Coincidentally, the last of Feb. I attended the funeral of a good friend. Her ex-husband was there, and I spoke with him at length. It turns out he was a member of Special Forces, and served several tours

| I won! I think. | 19 Mar 2008 12:29 GMT | 16 |
For as long as I have been living here, I have had a minor problem with cats opening the cabinets under the sink in the master bathroom and getting inside. I say minor problem because I keep the door shut except when I'm taking a shower (I use the back bathroom for most everything
