| Do your cats snore? | 22 Feb 2008 16:30 GMT | 25 |
This morning I was sitting on the bed tieing my shoes when I heard The Sound. It came from the cat bed on the floor beside the radiator, a favourite napping spot of The Girls, especially in the winter. It was Martha snoring. It's a delightful sound much like a human snore but

... do not pet Rufous while he's standing on your chest with his mouth directly above your face, or you risk being drooled on by a very happy cat. :)

| Supervision explained | 22 Feb 2008 13:47 GMT | 2 |
Some of you may have noticed that my sig line varies between "closely supervised by Mistletoe" and just "supervised by Mistletoe". There is a sometimes painful difference. My computer table is laid out (left-to-right) with monitor/keyboard,

A friend of mine came over *with her digital camera*, and took lots of kitty pictures. Most of them are of Everett, but there are a few incidental cats wandering through and getting into the act. Unfortunately Smudge was not available for this photo shoot.

| I've got a shouldercat again! | 21 Feb 2008 15:15 GMT | 7 |
The only cat I've had who really liked riding on my shoulders was Mingus (died 2000). Ishmael and Muriel could kinda do it, but didn't like to stay there long; Mingus would happily go for rides all round the house and purr in my ear. Splodge can be heaved up

| Attack kitten! | 21 Feb 2008 08:15 GMT | 20 |
Last night, I apparently had a sudden infestation of greeblings and bed mice at about 3 AM, and Everett was pressed into service. He attacked my foot with claws fully extended, which pierced through the comforter and sheet, and then through the thin skin on my instep. I

| I'm such a meanie | 20 Feb 2008 23:31 GMT | 24 |
I'm sure Christina Websell will yell at me for this one. :) Licky was napping on my bed, and he looked so sweet that I had to join him. It took me quite a while to get him to come over right next to me. First, just as he was about to come over to me, he got his claw

Batley was pts at 2:12 am. He started having gran mal seizures lasting up to 5 minutes each about midnight (EST), and was having them about 1 to 2 minutes apart. He needed to rest, and I gave him what I could. I told him I would take his problems away, and that I loved him VERY
