PURRS needed for Mosey14 Feb 2008 04:56 GMT22
Our 6 year old Mosey aka FuzzFace, our  darling gray and white longhair, has
to go see the vet tomorrow.  These people are wonderful.
Mosey 'lost his dinner' last night, his favorite canned food, and has pooped
outside his box.  His poop sometimes contains blood, and he 'might' ...
Cute logo14 Feb 2008 02:59 GMT7
Driving to work today, I saw a truck on the road with a cute logo. It
was a shipping company, and the logo was a picture of a mother cat
carrying a kitten in its mouth.

Did we forget...?14 Feb 2008 01:47 GMT3
Hey, wasn't today "Live Like a Cat Day"? Or was that January 12? I
thought it was today.
Did anyone live like a cat today? I wish I could have. I could really
use 18 hours of sleep!
Tessie and the Ball-in-the-box14 Feb 2008 01:40 GMT7
Tessie was playing with her ball and she managed to roll it right into
an empty mailing box on the floor... so then she was circling it and
trying to find a way to get the ball out again. She was soooo cute!
And I caught her on film so you can see her too...

Poor Licky (kind of a GW)13 Feb 2008 21:54 GMT28
Last night I changed the cat litter, and was soaking the box in
disinfectant before putting the new litter in. But just after I'd
finished and there was fresh litter in the box, Licky suddenly let
out a series of loud wails, and looked up at me with great alarm.
something about Frankie13 Feb 2008 21:50 GMT6
I was washing a few dishes in the sink and Frank thought it was "cat dinner
fixen" going on.  I told him it was a bit early and he seemed very brave at
the moment being as food was on his mind soooo..
I slowly reach out and his head bent down just a little but he did not run

Two Poofy Tails13 Feb 2008 21:40 GMT19
I heard Stinky hissing in the living room (as Senior Cat, Stinky is the
Official Hisser), and looked up to see him on the window sill with a hugely
poofed tail.  Dante jumped up beside him, looked out, and his tail instantly
poofed, too.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY :)13 Feb 2008 14:46 GMT2
Valentine's Day is an international day of love/like, where Chocolate (I
like dark chocolate) and flowers and other tokens of affection are given.
So, I just wanted to wish all the hoomins here Happy Valentine's Day and
please don't let the Cats get to the Chocolate.
Four Report Feb 6, 200813 Feb 2008 13:39 GMT37
Four is doing fantastically well.  His wound is almost, not quite, small
enough to be covered with a bandaid if one would put a bandaid on a cat,
which I wouldn't.  He still hasn't grasped the idea of a litter box. I
created a covered litter box for him hoping that would work but ...
I'm a good slave (or Molly thinks so anyway)13 Feb 2008 10:15 GMT2
I was a Sams Club earlier today (Its a warehouse store)
Youngest grandson spotted a SmartyCat Catnip Convertible in the pet section.
They are fake fur covered cat beds that can either be used flat, or the top
pops up to make an enclosed cat bed.  It comes with a plastic pouch of
Oops!13 Feb 2008 05:45 GMT7
Roxy and I have had a game since she was a kitten, where I pretend to
stalk her, which I do by creeping toward her very slowly. I do walk
upright when I do this, I just walk extremely slowly, and I usually
freeze in place if she looks at me, the way a stalking cat would. This
Fleetwood adds a bit of drama13 Feb 2008 05:33 GMT6
Fleetwood is a ginger tailless (thanks to a road accident) habitue
of folk music pub sessions around Midlothian (south of Edinburgh)
and folk festivals in the north of England, where he goes with his
hoomins in a camper van.  (I can't find where his web page has gone).
Minus one kitty today13 Feb 2008 04:54 GMT16
Everett is at the kitty adoption today. I just got back from dropping
him off. So, either I'll be going back at 5:00 to bring him back here for
another week... OR ... I'll never see him again. :(  I want him to find
a great home, but this is the hard part of fostering.
