Abby likes to sit on my lap facing me. Today she came to sit on my lap and
started sniffing my shirt. Then worked her way up to my face. I've been sick
with a cold and have a bad cough. I was sucking on a cough drop and she
didn't know what the smell was.

Blacky is one of our ferals. He is a very pretty black cat and very
intelligent. When I come home, he stands up and grabs the doorknob, trying
to let himself in.
When I put out food, he wants to be cuddled before he eats.

I caught poor kitty this afternoon.  He'd had two cans of cat food in
rapid succession and I put the trap by the hole under my porch where I'd
been feeding him.  He went for the tuna and the trap snapped shut.  He
was cold and desperate I think.  Moved quite slowly the last time ...

I phoned in to check on his progress and all I got was that he'd had his
vaccinations but hadn't had his medical checkup yet.  They wait until
the vaccinations have had time to take effect before putting him up for
adoption - I suspect that today or tomorrow he will have his ...

Our crew gets wet food twice a day, morning and evening, about 12 hours
appart. The automatic kibble feeder also feeds twice a day, roughly an
hour after the wet food is served.
On the weekends the cats tend to eat less than normal, don't know why.

Last night we had below freezing temperatures  they are expected to be here
several days
The cat lady in Pierson was able to house the cat rescues in another part of
the property but it is not insulated building

It has been snowing here over night, when Baggy went out he was zooming
about in the snow and pouncing. He reminded me more of a puppy playing in
the snow. By the time I got the camcorder he'd decided he'd had enough and
came in, I did get a good laugh though.

Two more cards arrived today, thanks to Lorraine and Ginger-lyn. It is nice
to see so many owners.
